The Hotel Du Nord is close to the Interlaken East station. The breakfasts were very generous and a great variety of food was on offer. The staff were excellent. Coffee/tea making facilities were in the bedroom. The room was quiet and comfortable. There was no air-conditioning, but it wasn't overly warm when I visited and a fan was provided if needed. The hotel has offers on a range of activities and services and I made free use of a local swimming pool one evening and had a discount on access to a sauna in another hotel another evening. I would certainly recommend this hotel you anyone visiting Interlaken.

We stayed at the Du Nord from 14th June to 21st. We had a lovely double room with a view of the Jungfrau. The room was very clean and comfortable with a good sized bathroom. A single friend travelling with us was given a very nice small double room with views on 2 sides. The staff were friendly and helpful without being"over the top" As we had booked via Inghams the 4 course evening meal was a set menu but with 2 choices for each of 3 of the courses. The food was superb and we couldn't fault the presentation or the ingredients. Breakfast was an excellent choice of continental options. The Du Nord is in an excellent position for access to Interlaken Ost and Interlaken West stations and to the boats on lakes Brienz and Thun. This was our 5th visit to interlaken and our first stay at the Du Nord. We would happily stay there again.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights May 2nd to May 4th. Very nice big size room we had booked double room this room had 1 double and 1 twin bed. bathroom was decent size not very big. View from room was also nice had 2 big window 1 was facing market and another one was facing mountains..Had Tea..coffee facility. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was also nice.

My daughter, her friend and I spent three nights at the duNord last week-April,2008. The room was spacious, clean and the shower was outstanding. The hotel's location was perfect. The staff was wonderful, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was varied, plentiful and the waiter on the three mornings I was there was a gem. I would go back anytime, and I recommend it highly.
