Walked in and got a room and a discount.
Good clean room with friendly and prompt service, nothing to complain about at all.
Room overlooked street where bar spilled out late on Saturday night, just closed the window and that got rid of most of the noise.
Would stay again and gives good value for money for a good standard.

I admit the location is great, we walked there from the train station, BUT, for the money we paid we were pretty disappointed. The room size was nice, the room was clean, but other than that it was not so good.
The staff was not too kind or friendly, the breakfast was not very good and the noise was aweful due to the bar across the street and it being in the RED LIGHT district. ( Which by the way we read on a sign while walking up to the hotel.)
Unfortunately we had to leave the windows open due to the heat and no air condition in the room. We were told that no 3 star hotels there had air. We paid $207,00 which I found to be on the lower end of hotel prices in Geneva. I think that price is extremely high for what we actually got, and I would definetly not recommend this hotel to anyone.
fairly good hotel, if a little basic.

This hotel is in a good location, very close to the main train station (Cornavin). For the price paid, it was somewhat basic, though. There`s no air conditioning and the room could get a little stuffy at times (apparently only 4* and above have this in Geneva). Breakfast was extremely limited, only cornflakes, fruit salad, cold ham & cheese, rolls and croisssants. There was some noise from the street, traffic and people talking, mostly, if you had the window open to get some air in the room, although this was almost totally shut out with the window closed, that said it might be worth requesting a non street facing room. Staff at reception were always helpful if we needed directions or advice. There is a good place to get something to eat directly opposite the hotel, which seems to be open most of the day (the burger is pretty good!), there are Indian, Chinese and Pizza restaurants in the area although less of the first than the others - there is one called "Bombay" on Rue de Berne, no.11, which also opens throughout the day from 0930, similarly a chinese restaurant across the road from the station seems to be open all day. Other than this, restaurants don`t seem to open until 1900 in the evening.

We were 3 people sharing a suite for one night (CHF 400, booked via bestwestern.com). Approaching the hotel by car is a little inconvenient because of the many one-ways in that area. The hotel is coneniently located (close to the train station) in a busy and lively area. Traffic flows nearby while the street itself is comparatively quiet. You will hear people (pedestrians) at night.
Our suite had 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The decor was all right, the room was clean. Though located next to the (only) elevator, there was no noise, since no bedrooms was adjacent to it. Our suite was on 5th (top) floor and showed to the back (a small square accomodating a parking lot) and the side street.
The receptionist was not overwhelmingly polite or helpful with information (where the car rental might be located on the Rte de Lausanne) but not rude either. Breakfast was literally basic but all right.
I found this hotel convenient, appealing and would chose it again.

The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the Geneva Cornavin Train Station and tram stops, so location wise it was excellent. We arrived at 12pm, hoping we might be able to just leave our bags there (as stated check in was 2pm) but the receptionist said fine, no problem, we could check in at 12pm. The room was small, but clean, the bathroom again was clean and the shower was great. Shelf and storage space in the bathroom was limited, but for 2 days we could cope.
Whenever we asked reception for advice etc they were very helpful. They recommended a steak restaurant called Cafe Paris and it was excellent and also explained which trams to take to get to different sites etc.
Breakfast room is clean and nicely presented. The staff there are very efficient.
Note that the hotel does not provide tea and coffee making facilities in the room, you have to ask at reception for it, which we did, when the receptionist was very busy and couldn't leave the desk, but we went out for dinner and when we came back it was in the room, so I was pleased that she had acted on our request.
I thought that this was an average hotel, made better by the helpful staff. I wouldn't stay here again, purely because we have seen everything that we wanted to see in Geneva as it is a compact city, but I would recommend this hotel to others.
