Stayed at the Bar Harbor Motel, initially for 2 night's but enjoyed our stay so much we added a 3rd night, booked at very short notice after reading reviews on here and visiting the Motels website. Great location with bus stop for Bar Harbor directly outside the Motel, although it's only a 15 min walk to the town, great rooms, plenty of space and kept clean and tidy. The ladies on reception are very pleasent and nothing is too much trouble.

Loved it! Beautiful setting on the water with grounds that are richly enhanced with colorful and numerous gardens. In a premiere location, within walking distance of the town, yet very quiet and peaceful. Staff was very friendly and responsive. Our room was immaculate cared for each day. The continental breakfast was superb, many choices and a staff to maintain a fresh supply of buffet choices as well as dishware. Look forward to going back to Bar Harbor Inn again!

We stay at the Bar Harbor Motel every other year or so and my elderly parents have been staying there [off - season] for many more. It is a super clean, however, not too fancy motel that is just right for most people. The prices are terrific and the place is run by family which are very friendly. Stay there and you can bike in town or even walk. Bar Harbor is great for parking, at least for us and especially in the off season.! We highly recommend this place!

My wife and I stayed here in June for our anniversary. This place was fantastic and the spa exceeded expectations. Yes, you are paying a premium for the view, but it is definitely worth it! We are already looking forward to going next year.
