Great Hotel With Wonderfull Staff

I called the hotel directly to make a reservation, they lady who answered sounded very friendly. She answered all my questions and even helped me find the best rate I could get. When I did arrive a very friendly front desk girl smiled and welcomed me. When I got to my room there were no towels, but as soon as I called down she appoligized and gave me the towels I needed. Front dest staff was very warm and welcoming, Breakfast was top notch (better than any other I have seen), Manager was a complete sweet heart. I only stayed one night, but if I ever find myself in Kalamazoo again, I will be staying at the Best Western!!!

We were a little nervous about staying here but it was late in the day and we needed a place to stay.
It worked out fine. They had a nice looking pool and hot tub that we didn't use.
The breakfast was OK, not spectacular.
Staff was friendly.
Wireless internet connection worked well.

Found only one towel in the room (hand towel) called front desk to ask for more, desk clerk told me, in a nasty tone that I would have to "make do" I demanded she find me some towels and gave her 10 minutes to bring them up. She told me she was the only person on duty and could not leave. The air conditioner in our room did not work properly, room was dusty, carpet didn't feel clean, bathroom had not been cleaned properly, toilet stained. I could on and on. In short, I have nothing nice to say about my stay here. When I complained to management, they acted totally indifferent to my complaints!

Duration of Stay: Approximately 12 hours - Business - Plenty to tell for such a short visit!!
Even though our room was reserved with a credit card, we were asked for payment upon arrival. I felt the staff members were rude for making a request such as this. The coffee pot in our room was broken. There were inadequate bath towels & washclothes. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. There was old food in the dining area that looked to be left over from a luncheon...this was approximately 9:30 p.m. The floor in the vending/ice/laundry room was dirty, soap powder all over the floor. No change available in the vending machine. The Jacuzzi was broken. The pool was cold. I've only been a club member for a little over a year and prior to joining had stayed at several other Best Western Hotels, having a nice experience; this is the worst ever.

Was passing through and stopped. Very Disapponited. Wall paper peeling. Room dirty, wouldn't take my shoes off. Cob webs everywhere. Very noisy. Pool was Green and Air conditioning was almost non existant. Would not recommend for any reason.
