Wir kamen spät am Abend an und auf dem öffentlichen Parkplatz vor dem Hotel geparkt, schnell ein paar Münzen eingeworfen, die bis zum Morgen reichten. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer, recht groß und in den sehr guten Betten haben wir sehr gut geschlafen. Auch mit dem Bad waren wir zufrieden. Das Frühstücksbüfett mit warmen Gerichten war exzellent. Wir noch einmal nach Weimar reisen, werden wir mit Sicherheit wieder dort absteigen.

Dieses Hotel war früher einmal ein Intercity Hotel. Praktische Lage vor dem Bahnhof, aber in einer schönen Gegend und dank der Lage leicht zu finden. Eine schöne Tiefgarage rundet das Bild ab. Das Zimmer war recht groß, modern, sauber und gut ausgestattet, genauso wie das Bad. Es stimmt auch nicht zu sagen, dass das Hotel zu weit weg sei. Bis ins Zentrum sind es zu Fuß höchstens 10 Minuten und das Hotel bietet zudem auch einen kostenloses Ticket für den öffentlichen Nahverkehr an, man muss die Stadt also nicht zu Fuß erkunden. Exzellentes Restaurant mit einer schönen Atmosphäre. Das Hotel wurde schön renoviert, aber die Gemeinschaftsbereiche haben das alte Ambiente behalten. Wirklich sehr schön geworden. Ein empfehlenswertes Hotel.

This property used to be an Intercity hotel. Conveniently situated in front of the station but in a pleasant area, easy to find thanks to its location and a good underground parking completes the picture .... Room was fairly large, modern, clean and well equipped so was the bathroom. To say that the hotel is far away is a joke, it is at most 10 minutes walk away from the centre, on top of that the hotel is providing a free public transport pass therefore even you are not inclined to walk the city is yours .... Excellent restaurant with a plesant atmosphere. The hotel has been nicely renovated but the common areas have kept the old touch, a well done job. AN HOTEL TO RECOMMEND

Our tour group of 15 spent one night here at the end of August and the rooms were good as was our dinner and breakfast. The main problem is the location - across from the train station and quite a ways from the town center.
