Staff were exceptionally friendly, playing with our baby. Rooms were clean and quiet, with updated furnishings. Great $5 breakfast deal (eggs, bacon, toast, etc.) in a nice restaurant with a fountain. Best pizza place is Garlic Jim's (you'll need to pick it up, but it's worth the drive).

We bid for a 3 star room on Priceline at night less than an hour before we arrived. The mgr told us upon arrival that he could have given us a better price than we got on Priceline. When we requested a room with 2 beds he said there was only a room with 1 bed available but would get us a rollaway. After getting our bags from our car and going to the room, the rollaway was already in our room along with extra towels. There was no extra charge for the rollaway. Great service! The only place to set up the rollaway was next to the air conditioner/heater which made for a noisy, drafty night for the person on the rollaway. That’s the chance you take when booking on Priceline. The furnishings were dark and dated with a gathered curtain over the closet. The carpet was dirty. The bathroom was clean but the toilet was very loud - every time we flushed we were startled. The fitness room was adequate. It wasn't a 3 star room but the service was good.
We had a great night sleep.

We enjoyed our stay. The property does need a facelift but our room was clean and spacious (single king room) and the bed and pillows were fantastic! We were very comfortable. There was no view to speak of and we didn't have time to even try to access the pool but our interaction with staff was very good and the location was easy to find right off of Interstate 5. Breakfast in the dining room the next morning was quite tasty even though we felt the atmosphere was lacking a bit. Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. We were joined by another couple. They also expressed the same overall feeling of this facility.

I found this hotel via the internet. The website made the hotel look great. Great photos, nice pool, comfortable and they claimed to have recently remodeled. When my family and I pulled up to the hotel, the exterior looked nothing like the photos from the web, well maybe if they were taken when the hotel first opened in the 60's or 70's. It was in dire need of painting and an overall "facelift". The lobby was cluttered and unorganized (only 1 little corner of the lobby looked nice), nice furnishings but mismatched. The room had an odd layout, again the furnishings needed to be replaced, looked nothing like the photos from the website. The pool had "caution tape" and safety cones in various places. The pool was chipped, the water was cold and it looked like it needed to be cleaned along with the outside windows that looked like they hadn't been cleaned in at least a year. The only positive thing I can say about my stay was that the beds and pillows were in fact comfortable. They really needed to either do a full remodel or nothing at all. Repair, paint or replace the ceilings, doors and furnishings. The remodel was all in surface decor and paint. It's all in the details my friend. In my opinion, they should have spent their money tearing down the old hotel and starting over fresh.

We stayed one night here in a 2 bed room. The beds were the most comfortable I have found in any hotel. They actually had pillow top mattresses. And the pillow was wonderful too. This hotel appears to be going through remodel. The room we had looked freshly painted and updated. The outside of the building looked horrible as it had patches of lime green paint, possibly primer? It appears they have removed the hot tub and put in a rock fountain which is not even pretty to look at. The room was quite small, just enough room to walk around beds etc, no sitting area other than 1 chair at the desk. It was very clean. Toiletries were nice Bath and Body Works. There were wierd dents in the carpet... almost like they had put new carpet down over a damaged pad. We were disappointed there was not any sort of breakfast, you even had to buy coffee if you wanted it. We reserved through priceline and most at this level have at least a continental breakfast. Oh and also found it odd they crammed 4 regular towels onto a 2-towel bar.
Overall though I would say I would stay there again because the most important part of a hotel is that the bed is comfortable and the room is clean. It was definitely that!
