Breakfast is adequate...clean room to eat in. First time we stayed here, the supplies were all USED by previous customers, i.e., open shampoo bottle, etc. YUCK. The second time, the desk rep had REMOVED a queen bed when we asked for a microwave! We got there and only had one bed for 4 people!!! The staff were not helpful and the desk clerk was razzing me for being impatient (the same one who removed a queen bed and replaced it with a microwave!). There was no shower curtain, only 3-4 pieces of cutlery, and the place was dirty. It looked as if no one had stayed in this room for ages. Also, the windows had filthy mold on them. NEVER AGAIN. (We finally got the correct room the 2nd night---but no refund until we complained to corp.) NO ONE was interested in what we had to say. NEVER AGAIN.

Lets see, what could go wrong. First lets try a broken air conditioner. They actually nice enough to move us to a new room after the air conditioner stopped working. Second would be no water. The hotel water system went down and we were unable to use the bathroom or shower on the day we were due to check out. The hotel was in dire need of upgrades all around. The bedding was old and worn and the room was just falling apart. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Just came back from Bar Harbor, stayed in the Best Western Inn for one night. The room is clean, neat and the bed is comfertable but is little soft for me. It is close to Acadia national park but little bit far away from the Bar Harbor city. The breakfast is too basic. Overall it is not bad.

Stayed at the BW for one night and it was okay. Was fairly comfortable and relatively clean; very basic (and no hair dryer). Was outside of, but close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We were concerned because the water wasn't getting very hot the first night (but by the next morning for showers, it was fine. It had a wonderful shower -- good water pressure!) Husband wanted a good hot breakfast (instead of a "continental"); stay away from the Log Cabin Restaurant/Gift Shop down the road though. Was absolutely the worst food we (and apparently others there) have ever had. Would stay at the BW again; but for the price - might opt to find something in Bar Harbor. Looked like there were some good "off-name" hotels, cottages in the area.

Despite other comments we are very pleased about this location. The room was very clean and in very good condition. The hotel is currently under renovation. We had a double bed room at the far end from the road - very quiet. Only the free breakfast is somehow what is always served in the US as Cont. Breakfast - we Europeans expect something different. We would definitely come again.
