Unless you demand curbside bellhop service and frilly extras, you will not be disappointed with this hotel. All the positive comments from previous posts are accurate. Our family of four (2 girls, age 10 & 7) experienced no negatives during our stay. The breakfast here is hot, free and really enhances the experience, especially if you have a busy schedule and don't like spending money and time for someone else to serve you.
My tip: request a mountain view upon check in. The view is spectacular!

After reading the last review I was sceptical about staying at a noisy hotel, But this hotel was absolutely wonderful. Not noisy at all. They are located on Federal Drive so the last review must be about another hotel.
The staff is top notch Joan, Sam, Christine and Amber so very friendly and helpful made me feel at home.
Breakfast was great and alot of variety. Evening hospitality with Holly was great. The rooms were very large for a hotel room and always kept very clean. They had full kitchens in which was nice since I didnt always want to go out to eat.
I recommend this hotel to any and everyone, the best hotel I have ever stayed at!!!!
Great job
Thank you

I traveled here on business in October 07 and have to say I was disappointed. First the Pros:
Pros:
Really nice staff (for the most part). Great breakfast buffet. I particularly loved the waffles! The room was large and nicely appoint if somewhat out of date.
Cons:
Okay, well the place is on North Academy so I expected some noise but holy cow was this place insanely loud. I was in building 1 and all I heard was the sirens all night long, then my poor upstairs neighbor walking up and down.
The internet connection was practically non-existent which is a really big problem for me as a business person. When I asked why I couldn't plug into the ethernet jac they said they only had about 7 rooms that were hard wired. Considering I couldn't get wireless signal in my room that was a huge problem! When asked how my stay was I told them honestly that the internet was not working properly and that really affected my stay. The young man got all [-] and wanted to know what I suggested they do about it. Ummm...Fix it?
All in all, not a bad place but the Radisson is much nicer for the same money and I really think other extended stay lodging places do a better job.

What a great Residence Inn!
We were there for Air Force Sports Camp and what a great week we had!
The staff is AMAZING! Holly in the a.m. and Mae in the pm. these ladies are wonderful and they serve up great food and drink in fact they made my girls ice cream sundaes.
The breakfast and dinner were wonderful....yummy! the front desk Joan and Amanda were so wonderful! there are even cookies in the afternoon after you arrive home from a busy day.
Our housekeeping staff was excellent. the room was well appointed with all of the needs you may have when away from home (free internet is a plus)
I am telling you as a Residence Inn regular this hotel was above expectations!
The location was wonderful we were right at the 1-25 just 2 miles from North gate of Air Force it was quiet and serene. Will we be back? You bet this place is a gem!!!!!

We just returned from spending a week at this hotel during the Air Force Academy graduation. The staff was very helpful in anything that came up. The breakfast is great with very helpful service. And they also offer a complimentary heavy snack/light dinner every weeknight for guest. The exercise room and pool where small, but never more than one or two people were using it at the same time, so it wasn't a problem. I am sure service was stepped up for the week due to the graduation activities, but if that is any indication of how they operate the rest of the year, I would highly recommend. Very clean with modern amenities. The location is great as well. Jut a few exits down from the Academy north entrance and a short drive to the many malls and services, without putting you in the thick of all the traffic. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no safe in the rooms but they did offer safety deposit boxes at the front desk that I was able to use without a problem.
