Based on the foregoing and for $50/night in Downtown San Diego, was a pretty good stay, the price was competitive, the bathrooms were cleaned regularly, free morning coffee.
facilities were neat and well maintained.
The diner/coffee house at the lobby had good food and showers were well used and tiled.

I liked the central location, s just few steps away from the trolley station and ive traveled the country from east to west and this was the best hostel ive stayed at. Based on the foregoing and for $50/night in Downtown San Diego, was a pretty good stay, the price was competitive. The bathrooms were cleaned regularly, free morning coffee, the pillows were soft.

Service was really poor and the cleanliness of the toilets was not perfect.
