We recently stayed at the Residence Inn due to traveling for a funeral. The rooms were nice and clean. I like the bedroom being off to the side like a suite. The room had a mini kitchen that came with microwave popcorn, coffee, tea and place settings for 4. The breafast was great all 3 days. My kids loved the waffles and muffins. We liked the bacon and eggs and toast. Free wireless access downstairs next to the cafe. I think it's free in the room as well, but I forgot my laptop, so i cannot verify that. There is also a restaurant within walking distance of the property called Zio's. It's Italian and it was wonderful.

Very nice welcome....good hot breakfast and very clean rooms! I liked the fact that is was close to highway, but not close enough to be disturbed! Would stay again if I was in the area!

Stayed at the Residence Inn, Springfield several times between January and April 2007 on business. Very good experience overall. This place doesn't have enough recent good reviews and it deserves them so thought I'd update. It was a toss-up between this Res Inn and the Holiday Inn Express and after seeing the location of both, we chose to stay here. We reserved a 2 bedroom suite, and it's one of the nicer Res Inns we've booked. I think the photos don't do it justice! Great location! The staff was very nice and helpful and the place was really clean. The general manager's office is right near the front door and the day we were there he had the french door open - just reassuring and probably what keeps this place up to par. My only complaint was the food which like all res inns, when you get there a little late the food is picked over and they don't keep up w/ fresh refills.
