As a Radisson card holder , frequent traveller and a traveller booker, it is with pure disappointment that I have to write such a bad review on what was supposed to be a relaxing holiday in the sun.
Our entire 4 night stay at this ''5 star'' hotel was a complete disaster.
We were treated with disrespect by hotel staff, to the point that we had to complain to the hotels manager- who didn’t really care.
At the peak of summer the hotel was having renovations which included scraping paint on to us when we were trying to lie by the pool (unfortunately we could move to another spot and the place was PACKED).
The rooms are terribly laid out and we had rock hard single beds pushed together, a dirty bathroom and towels, lack of toiletries (only supplied shampoo and shower gel) but worst of all thin walls so we could here people until 3AM every night.
Other problems we encountered included the lock on our door being broken, which meant for 2.5 days people could walk into our room any time.
On our last night, when we were rudely told that we could not order from the restaurant we were at, as they didn’t open till 7pm, we had had enough- not only was it 7:15pm we were told we couldn’t sit at the table we were at because it was reserved for 8:30pm, even though we had previously asked before sitting down. When we spoke to the Manager of the restaurant, he looked out to sea and crossed his arms. When we spoke to the hotels manager, he didn’t really listen and had to ask us to repeat what had happened 3 times.
He then said ''ok, i'll sort it out for you'', he took us to the restaurant we had eaten at every other night. After we had eaten our meal, we we’re offered complimentary coffees on the house....thanks for that.
Overall the hotel was a COMPLETE disappointment that really puts the chain to shame. We paid a lot of money to be treated like insignificant people.
Malta on the other hand was fantastic and I would recommend a visit to anyone but please choose a different hotel if you would like to enjoy your holiday!

We have just returned from a week's stay at the Radisson. The room was spacious with a view of the sea and a huge bed. But we were unhappy to find that the plug hole in the bath was completely blocked with the previous guest's hair, however this was rectified when we notified housekeeping. Location is great - approx 10 mins walk to Paceville and 20 mins walk to St. Julian's. The nearest beach is about 10 mins walk away, but it's tiny and was extremely crowded. We rented a car and visited the beaches on the west coast, which we would definitely recommend. Staff were helpful and polite. The breakfast buffet was good, but nothing special. Food at The Edge restaurant was excellent. Overall this hotel was excellent, but we have 2 complaints -
1. Service at The Bistro was terrible - we were taken to our table and were ignored for at least 10 mins, until we actually had to ask the waitress for a menu. Even after taking the order, everything was very slow and we couldn't be bothered to waste time ordering a dessert.
2. If you want to use the mini bar fridge to store your own food/drink, you have to ask the hotel to empty it first then you pay a rental charge of 5 euros/day! We felt this was a real rip-off.

I have been 3 times to Malta this year and choose always different hotels but ended up at the Radisson Bay Point.
The way people at all levels take care of you has been excellent compared to the others.
Even a big place as Radisson, we felt realy treated very personnaly and charming.
I was with a foot in the plaster and did not ask any assitance but the reaction of the staff has been very helpful and supporting.
It is always an extra value if people give that little more attention to make your stay perfect!!
You should all try them when you go next to Malta.
Good luck
