Best Western Cooper's Mill You're The Best! We stayed here for a family emergency! They gave us a great rate! And it just down the hill from St. Luke's Hospital. All the staff on the property are wonderful and everything you need is under one roof! I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again!

I decided to take a chance on this hotel, since there was no reviews on it and I was plesently surprised. It is a nice hotel located on what use to be the Cooper's Mill flour mill. Its is a little hard to find though, because the series of interchanges and bridges are even confusing to locals. So be sure to BW's directions before you leave. Their breakfast is served in the hotel's resturant called "Cooper's Mill" and you are given a good selection for free breakfast. You have an option to get $2 off a hot breakfast. If you have the money, I would spurge for it, because some say they have the best breakfast in town. For the room, they gave us what we reserved and even let us check in early. Only problem was the mattress which saged in the middle. I believe they are doing some minor renovations, so you might get their newer furniture as well as other stuff. So if you can navigate traffic real well, I would give it a shot.

This hotel is truly average in every conceivable way, but isn't a bad deal if you stumble across an extra low rate. I happened to get this hotel through a $39 booking on Hotwire and felt after my stay it was valued at basically what I paid for it, if not a little better ($50-$60 would be the most I could see paying for this location without feeling like you didn't get your money's worth) On the positive side: -Hotel was fairly clean, with beds, towels, and bathrooms all acceptably taken care of by housekeeping -Hotel restaurant reasonably priced and decent food -Lobby computer to check e-mail and small workout room -Staff appropriately friendly and professional -Small pool that's okay for little kids to splash around in -Although having NOTHING to do with the hotel, there's a wonderful espresso bar an 8-minute walk or 2-minute drive away called the Blue Strawberry. Highly recommended! On the negative side: -Poor location in a less than fancy part of town. -Sink drains in room 308 never worked (20 minutes for sink to drain and nearly 15 minutes for bathtub to drain) -While it wasn't a dirty hotel, it had that "old-smelling" and musty hotel smell. -Air conditioning didn't adequately cool room. -Coffee provided was of a very poor quality. This hotel certainly provided me with what it was advertised as having. It's an okay stopover on your way somewhere else and gives low rates for acceptable accomodations. Just don't expect to be "wowed" in any way.
