The hotel advertises as being near the East Guangdong Railways station. That is true, however, it would be impossible to find the hotel without knowing where and, more importantly, risking your life and limb to get to it. Most of the taxi drivers I engaged didn't know its location either. One of the other commenters said that there is no "neighbourhood"...that's true, without a taxi/subway ride there is no place that you would want to hang out out or dine at, other than the hotel. That being said, the staff is helpful and kind, the rooms modern and great TV channel selection. The Internet was great (it didn't seem to have Chinese censorship blocking out the Tibetan sites) and, once you know where the subway is, it's not too bad, again, if you don't mind crossing 16 lanes of busy traffic to get to it. One other surprise is that there is a swimming pool and a gymnasium. There are a lot of great hotel deals in Guangzhou, this wouldn't be my first pick but it's certainly comfortable and modern.

Il Ramada Plaza è un hotel nuovo e moderno. L’atrio è molto elegante e gli ascensori sono in vetro e marmo. Le camere sono pulite e moderne e non particolarmente grandi (di dimensioni normali per un albergo centrale in una grande città). In camera c’è l’accesso gratuito a internet. Una cosa particolarissima è che il bagno ha un'enorme finestra panoramica che si apre sulla camera da letto (ovvero è tra il bagno e la camera vera e propria). Questa è una cosa che non avevo mai visto prima: se stati in camera potete vedere tutto quello che succede in bagno, o se state sul gabinetto potete vedere tutta la camera. La cosa non è un gran problema se siete da soli. Naturalmente c’è un tenda enorme che si può tirare giù e che garantisce la privacy, ma la cameriera la lascia sempre su. La cosa peggiore di quest’albergo è il vicinato, o, più propriamente, la mancanza di vicinato nei dintorni. Non si trova in una parte del “centro” che permetta di arrivare a piedi a negozi, centri commerciali, attrazioni turistiche, ecc. Invece si trova su un’autostrada / strada molto trafficata che non si può attraversare a piedi, mentre il retro è a ridosso di una collina, così non c’è praticamente niente nelle vicinanze. La cosa andrebbe bene per chi viaggia per affari dato che il loro scopo principale e di arrivare al centro fieristico o di andare a una riunione per poi tornare in camera a rilassarsi. Tuttavia, se siete un turista sceglierei un albergo in un altro punto della città. Il ristorante è buono sia per la colazione a buffet che per venirci a pranzo o a cena e ha moltissimi piatti internazionali, compresi quelli occidentali.

Questo è un hotel nuovo di zecca e incantevole che si trova nel famoso quartiere di Tian He. Le camere sono belle e comunicano una sensazione di freschezza. I letti sono semplicemente incredibili, il bagno è stato ben ideato e le dotazioni sono sorprendenti per un albergo di categoria così bassa. Il personale è incantevole ed è sempre disponibile a fornirvi assistenza. Siamo stati veramente bene; ci torneremo.... :)

Sehr neues und reizendes Hotel im berühmten Tian He Viertel. Die Zimmer sind ordentlich und vermitteln ein frisches Gefühl. Die Betten sind einfach gigantisch, das Badezimmer ist schön gestaltet und die Vorzüge sind für den niedrigen Preis überraschend. Bewundernswerte Angestellte, die jederzeit bereit sind, Ihnen zu helfen. Ein fantastischer Aufenthalt, Ich werde wiederkommen... :)
