Good hotel for business travelers

This is a good hotel for business travelers. Room was big enough, internet access, nice bathroom, all the amenities in the room. Staff was very professional and friendly. Not far from Taksim Square if after your meetings you want to walk around a bit and see the city. Room was quiet and very clean. Breakfast was pricey, though.
Make sure your company has a Corporate Rate otherwise the prices are rather high.

Regarding facilities its ok but i had a problem with the luggages. I have booked the hotel-airport pick up and they forgot to send me all my luggages. I noticed that when i was in the airport and i called them to send me, my rest luggages. They did so and they charged for this service even though it was their fault. So be careful and dont trust them.

While the room was great, the reaction to any request for service was not. Air-conditioning was stuck on (over) heat, and the fridge was in the same mode. Requests for assistance went unheard, until we decided to buy cold beer and wine, and bring them back to the hotel. Stopped at security, we were told we were not allowed to bring in any drinks, due to hotel policy. This had nothing to do with any religious convictions, as the fridge was full (just warm!). After again requesting the fridge be fixed, someone was despatched to our room.
They also decided to undertake maintenance on the bathroom door, removing it and placing barriers across the door while we were out. Upon return, no note or anything, but impeded access to the bathroom. Eventually we were asked to vacate the room for an hour to allow the door to be replaced. Again - no apology or compensation.
The room service menu was very ordinary however the restaurant on site was good.
Location was good and the Concierge was a delight.

The Ramada Plaza is a dump. Location is very seedy and the top floor is sued for parties and weddings.
When I called the manager to complain about the noise and asked him if I could expect the nosie every night - he had the bareface cheek to say - I wish I was that successful in renting out the function room - but don;t worry the party will finish at midnight!
Considering I stayed in the hotel pretty much all the time between May and November - the only people who even recognised me were the doormen.
Service at breakfast was nonexistent in spite of there being lots of waiters around. It took an age to get coffee and when you did get it nine times out of ten it was cold or stewed
The gym is a joke - opens at 7 - 2 running machines and one weight machine. A steam room (out of order most of the time) and a Hamamagain mostly out of order. Furthermore it is open to non guests making it impossible to get a look in most of the time
It probably ticks all the boxes in terms of amenities - but there hasto be some qualitative judgement as well when awarding stars.
Alll in all a very poor show.

This is a great Hotel to consider if you are visiting Istanbul.
We spent 7 nights and would absolutely stay again. This is
a relatively new Hotel, extremely clean and situated not far
from Taxsim. We booked the Superior Room which was
only slightly more expensive than the Standard Room.
The room was very large and modern in appearance
and decor. Full marble bathroom with a great tub/shower
combo and plenty of room to relax. The A/C was very effective
and the windows did not allow any noise into the room from the traffic outside. Plenty of closet space, a safe, mini bar and combo TV/Internet. The best part of the Hotel was the friendly Hotel
Staff. From the front desk to the doormen we always felt
welcome and everyone was very helpful in making sure we got
to where we wanted to go including dinner reservations and
pricing for cabs in Istanbul. We asked one night for help in getting
dinner reservations and we were accomodated with a smile !
Location was great for our needs and there is a Metro stop
just outside the Hotel main door. The Metro was very effective and should be tried. You can save a lot of money
and given the high density traffic of Istanbul it was the best
way to get to all the main sites. Sultanahmet was no more than
30 minutes away. Taxsim Square and Istiklal Caddesi (Main Street) is only 1 metro stop away from the Hotel. 1.30 Turkish Lira ($1.03) was all it cost to ride one way and was no more than
10 minutes. If you are looking for a clean, modern and reasonably priced Hotel in Istanbul you should strongly consider the Ramada City Center for your needs.
