old and ran down explanes it,the room was kinda dirty and was loud. we stayed there because they advertised a shuttle to and from the airport and from the cruise port. (we had a cruise) the service was good but the location was bad, nothing around this place. so if you dont have transportation you are stuck there.
on the way back we stayed at the sleep inn and it was a lot better, new and clean for the same price.

With the major exception of those working in the restaurant, the staff was very personable and helpful. Place is basic, nothing special, nothing horrible. Shuttle to cruise port is convenient.

Ramada Inn Airport/Cruiseport Hotel.
Stayed May 3, 2008.
Upon reading some of the positive reviews I chose this hotel prior to our cruise. We arrived at midnight and had a long delay in getting the luggage. The driver stayed 15 minutes past his deadline waiting for us but we still had no luggage and he left. We called the hotel again as soon as our bags came and the driver came back to pick us up. How great was that!!!
I was impressed with the lobby and couldn't believe the tropical gardens around the pool area.
We had a real nice room right at the pool, very comfortable beds that felt like pillowtop mattresses.
Some of the reviews say "you only get what you pay for" really is insulting this hotel. These negative people should re-think what they got for the money. Not many hotels offer half of what Ramada offers. You get a nice clean roomy room, free shuttle service twice, airport/cruiseport, a full hot/cold buffet breakfast all for around $100.00 per room, not per person. What a deal.
I noticed another hotel building next door that appeared to be Ramada's and looked shabby.
I will book Ramada again when I go back without a doubt.
Hope this review offers some help.

If you dare to stay one night before a cruise, bring flea/knat bug spray (they are all over the walls) and check the tub to make sure the water goes down! My legs were itching almost two weeks after I returned from this trip! Also, they will double-charge your card if you decide not to return and endure the after-cruise part of your stay. They know people will not want to come back so this is how they make their money -- by double-charging people who do not return. The bar in the lobby smells like someone used an old nasty mop to clean up patrons' releases.
