The Ramada limited was a pleasant budget hotel.
Our room had comfortable beds, great pillows and was
very clean. The pool was small but a nice extra feature.
They also have a great complimentary continental breakfast.
The deskclerk was very nice. It's a little rundown around the
edges but, I would definitely stay here again.

Remodeled old Ramada. Great staff. Very poor location.
The room was clean and the breakfast was the best we ever had in a hotel. The staff try hard to please but this is an old place in a poor location. We were meeting friends and they chose this place. Stay closer to downtown.

I stayed in a ground floor room and was overrun by tiny ants. If I had known that there would be ants staying with me I would have charged them rent. This place has a very bad pest problem. I would certainly recommend staying at another hotel.

We chose this hotel for the indoor pool. Unfortunately, it was closed. I feel the clerk could have told us this before he took our money, not after. There is also no hot tub.
The room was spacious, but had some problems. First of all, we were supposed to be in a non smoking room, but our bedspread smelled like smoke. I carry my own pillow and it now smells like smoke too. The heater kept kicking in and out every couple of minutes making it impossible to sleep. We finally unplugged it. The sink is located right in front of the door, which made grooming difficult as you had to keep moving out of the way so my husband could pack up the car.

We came to Springfield for a basketball tourament at a local college. We chose to stay at the Ramada Limited due to the convenience of the location in relation to the college.
Big Mistake.
First of all the price the clerk was trying to charge us didnt match the sign that was advertising outside. We had to haggle to get him down to a decent range, which was still more than what was advertised outside.
Second, after we got our room keys we went upstairs where you could choke on the horrible stale smoke smell.
Third, we ordered pizza and the delivery boy went to the wrong room so when we called about the pizza he said that he had our name but there was no one at the front desk to ask what room were we actually in! So it took about 2 hours to get a pizza!
Fourth, we got up the next morning wanting to take a shower and get ready to leave and there was no hot water! This was crazy! but the pool was sure warm last night. My daughter got to swim for 2 minutes before a bunch of thugs took over the pool.
Fifth, they were very stingy with the "free" continental breakfast. I had to ask for a styrofoam cup, waffle mix, syrup, bread, and milk! It was like being at home cooking and cleaning! I had to wet a napkin and clean the table in order for my family to sit down and eat something. I was determined to get something for the money that we spent! I didnt care if it was cereal or waffles, we deserved so much better than we received.
I did not appreciate the way that the clerk acted when I had to ask him to bring things out for us-he acted like he wanted to pass out or something from having to over exert himself. (in his mind) He talked on his cell phone and watched me clean the table off so my family could eat. We noticed the way the clerk kept staring at us while we were eating and I told everyone to smile at him. I think he wanted to intimidate us so that we would leave without eating. I could have cared less. He quit that game when my husband came down to join us.-lol
I will never stay at any Ramada Limited again in my lifetime. This was hell on earth. And we paid cash for this...
