My brother and I along with our two large dogs stayed at the Ramada Inn Limited to and from our trip to Maine. The beds were comfortable and the room was large enough. The AC worked and the water pressure in the shower worked well. Had it been for an extended stay, i.e. to be used as a "home base," a fridge/microwave would have been nice. We were on the ground floor and there was a large area to exercise the dogs. The staff was superb.....I mean down right friendly......and they bent over backwards providing us travel assistance (warning us of speed traps), mapping out directions, just fun to chat with. We really hated leaving Vermont and vowed that when we returned to the New England area we would stay at the Ramada Inn Limited....and yes, we will be bringing the dogs.

We needed a place to stop for the night on our trip home from Canada. Red Roof was OK, Comfort Inn was twice what we paid at Ramada! Grrreat staff, clean, nice large room, nice pool, as continental breakfasts go this was much better than average breakfast, would recommend to anyone.
Also, just a short trip down the street stop at the 99 restaurant for good and reasonably priced food. We took 2 teens there and came away happy!!

I stay at the Ramada on a regular basis for business in the Rutland area. The location is great and I always find my room to be comfortable and clean. There is a great variety of pastry, cereals, etc for the breakfast buffet, a nice way to start the day.

I just stayed at the Ramada in Rutland to go snowboarding in the area. I checked here first, and the reviews were iffy. My girlfriend and i didn't want to pay alot, so we decided to gamble because the price was right. The gamble paid off, this place is fine for a quick weekend snowboard tirp. Ok, so first the good. When i checked online to book it, it was telling me no rooms were available. So i called the front desk. THe lady that helped me couldn't have been nicer and set me up with the reservation (haven't booked over the phone in years!). Upon arrival, the front desk staff was friendly and check in was simple. The hotel looks like an exterior entrance type, but its actually an interior (though you can exit out the outer door). The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the wireless internet worked well. The shower had great pressure and temperature. Now the minus's, and there were a few, mostly in the bathroom. THere was a hole in the drywall in the bathroom ceiling, the bathroom floor looked clean, but felt dirty!?, and there were other small wear and tear issues, but nothing major. I didn't see any bugs, etc. The room heater worked well and was actually very quiet compared to other hotels. The free breakfast was fine. Even had a belgian waffle machine. All in all, for the price, i would use this as home base on another snowboard trip.

I stayed at the hotel while on business in Rutland and was looking to not overpay. At $69 a night, it was the cheapest hotel that didn't look like a total dump. It wasn't bad. The bed was pretty comfortable. The wireless internet worked well. The TV selection was good and the shower had great pressure and temperature. The room wasn't the largest, but it wasn't small either. It was also clean, which is iffy in some Ramada's. I didn't use the pool and don't think I would have. It's weird that the hotel is in two buildings, but the second building the rooms are only on the second floor, with businesses on the first. It is right next door to a supermarket, but to get a meal you'll need to hop in the car (or walk a bit, but it was snowing like crazy when I was there). The breakfast was actually pretty large. The coffee needed help, but the waffle was good and the selection of pastrys was nice. Overall, it was a good deal for the price and I would easily stay again.
