We stayed there because my boyfriend had a hockey tournament in AC and the rest of the team was staying as well. The place looks like a rundown motel. While the rest of the team stayed in the two story building, we stayed in the tower building. It smelt terrible - like bad body odor that didn't go away even after febreezing the room. There were holes in the headboard of the bed. I went to open the window and something came loose and it slammed down on me. When my boyfriend came to help the entire large window came right out in his hands. They sent someone to help but they couldn't fix it and advised us to just not open the window. Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

Positives: big room, clean, good decor, comfortable bed, loved the shower, and the cont. breakfast is great for a "free" breakfast.
Negatives: seems far from the city but really isn't. I went for a conference at Borgata Casino, and it was about 4 miles. The office is in a separate building, so to go to another building for breakfast is a pain.

2nd APril we have stayed at this hotel as part of a 15 room golf excursion. The stay at at the hotel for all 32 members of your golf group was enjoyeable in april 2007, so we stayed again for our annual golf trip again this year in the atlantic city area and at the Ramada West Atlantic city. As last year, all of our rooms were clean & comfortable. the service for the full 3 days stay was great. and the breakfast is one of the better I have had for a contintental "free" breakfast. Next year we may choose myrtle beach, SC for our golf outing for a change, but we will definately be back to the same hotel in 2010.

Disaster!

We were given a "handicapped" room on the 3rd floor. There was no walk in shower as promised. It's hard to step in a bathtub from a wheelchair. I asked the management if they had a room with a walk in shower. They transferred us to a room on the first floor. I went to the 3rd floor with my son to start moving our things. The elevator doors would not open. We rang the bell and yelled for help, no response. It went to the 2nd floor. The doors would still not open. The doors opened on the first floor, We saw a man come in and told him that the elevator did not work, take the other one. He said "We know". Turns out he was the maintenance man. An "Out of order" sign would have been nice. They never put one up. We moved our things to the room, which was occupied by the maintenance man eating his lunch. He couldn't understand why we were given "his lunch room" The room had the same bathroom as the one on the 3rd floor, a tub with handles, no walk in shower. The hotel has no truly handicapped rooms. Hotwire got us this hotel for $55 night. We saved a whopping $4 per night from Ramada's rate. I'm originally from Atlantic City and turned down the offer to stay with relatives. Not the next time!
Great for the price

The hotel is clean. The beds were comfortable. Downside. When i checked in went through the whole check in process, the girl gave me my keys and said .."look at the map and find your room". What is that? It wasnt that hard to say, your room is in building two on the first floor.
Besides that all was good. It wasnt too far from the casino but far enough to get away from the hustle and bustle of the casino traffic.
