The Hilton this isn't. Online rates were around $99.00-$119.00 per night. I was fortunate enough to pay only $65.00 per night as part of a very large group. Most of the hotel appeared run down and in need of remodelling.
Upon arrival, the room appeared clean. There were small amounts of mold in the bathroom. The water controls for the shower stuck out from the wall, ugly, but functional. The water in the shower constantly changed from scalding to extremely cold then back to scalding hot again. The wall a/c unit was fairly loud, but it actually drowned out the outside noise.
6 of us went to Pinstripes restaraunt for breakfast on the first morning. 30 minutes after ordering our breakfast, we decided to get the order to go as we were running late. The waitress informed us that the cook hadn't started cooking our food yet. There were only two others in the restaraunt, and they already had their food, so they weren't busy.
All in all, it wasn't a bad stay, however I wouldn't stay there again even for the discounted rate of $65/night. Seems to be worth around $49/night.

Impressed with the website photos, but not with the room itself. It was old and worn making it seem dirty. The outside walk in front of the room was stained with blood or some other splattered mess, very gross.
On the upside the food in the dining room (fett alfredo, french dip, shrimp) was well above average for hotel food and the price was right.

The room smelled foul, had a strong mildew oder. The floor near the sink was flooded from a leak in the upper room. Staff corrected this problem by giving us many towels to sop up the disgusting mess. could not wait to leave.
A later complaint to Ramada did result in a partial refund.

We stopped at this hotel on the way home from Sanibel Island because it advertised a heated pool. The pool was nice and the grounds were nice - like a park like setting with large lawn with trees and a fountain. However, my mistake was asking for a 1st floor room. I found that if you walk across the carpet in sock feet your socks would be soaked on the bottoms. I went to use the restroom in the middle of the night and when I turned on the bathroom light, a huge cock roach was in the bathtub. We got up early and left ASAP.

Stayed at this Ramada while in Ocala on business. The hotel is in the middle of remodeling the outside of the building. It looked a little scary initially, however I was pleasently surprised by the room. The room was very clean, bathroom was in good shape. Even though the outside of the building looked a little scary I was quite happy during my stay there. The front desk staff was very friendly. I did not try the food or restuarant, however it did appear to be nice also.
Overall, good experience and I certainly couldn't beat the price. Would reccmmend.
