Stayed for my fisrt time in M?nchen. I choose this hotel by web site a bit afraid , 'cause cheaper than others in the same city. Anyway, it was a wonderful surprise when I arrived: this is a small place, clean, with a good localization ( despite front of a large street on the front, we can not hear any noise in the apartment! ). Friendly recepcionists and a "normal" breakfast with bread, orange juice ,cheeses and , of course, coffee and milk . Definetilly, It was a good experience and I recommend.

About 10 minutes away from the Metro station, we had a little trouble at first in finding the hotel. The neighborhood is very safe and relaxed, and anybody will help you find your way there.
The hotel is an older building, but the room was very nice, spacious with a high ceiling and good ventilation. The bed with down duvet was more than comfortable.
The staff were really excellent, going out of their way to help you find anything and everything that you needed.
The Munich metro is really easy to find your way around, but it is nice that the Munich Zoo is only one Metro stop or about a 20 minute walk.
A real bonus was the breakfast room, where you were served a very good continental breakfast. If we're ever back in Munich, we'll stay there again for certain.

Needed a room for one night while at the Oktoberfest, my usual Hotel wanted Euro989 for one night!! when last time it was only 200.
Galleria was about the last empty bed in town, at only Euro220, so was not expecting much.
However, clean, warm, very close to the Beer fest area, good breakfast, wake-up call at the right time, hot shower in the morning. So although the decor looks about 40 years old, if all you need is a pillow for the night, would probably stay there again if needed to.

My husband and I booked into the Hotel Galleria for a week, we had three days of business and the rest was spent sightseeing. The room was basic but very cheerful, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included in the price and was a very good selection of cheeses, breads, cereals, yogurts, eggs coffee and juices. The best part of our stay was the very helpful staff, all of the front desk staff and many of the other staff spoke English and were very helpful with suggestions of what to see, where to eat and how to navigate the underground rail system. We intend to stay there again.
