This hotel in the central square of a very friendly city had a busy and business facing atmosphere, while there seemed to be a far amount of large groups staying while I was there. The single rooms was small but tidy and clean, the hotel lobby was very small and not necessarily good to hang out in. While the Breakfast area was well run with a very good breakfast on offer. To the point that a lot of customers were coming in off the street. All in all my stay was good.

Das Hotel liegt direkt ggü. dem Hauptbahnhof von Hannover und ist deswegen für einen Zwischenstopp gut geeignet. Die Zimmer sind extrem klein und der Straßenlärm dringt durchs offene Fenster (und man muss das Fenster öffnen, denn es gibt keine Klimaanlage). Entschädigt wird man durch das großzügige Frühstücksbuffet, an dem individuelle Wünsche berücksichtigt werden. Auch sind die erzielbaren Raten (Frühbuchen, Last-Minute-Buchen...) in der Regel sehr niedrig. Insgesamt: Nicht wirklich 4-Sterne, aber okay für eine Nacht!

Positive points: - friendly staff - very central location (just opposite train station) - tasteful room decoration and everything in good standard (except for somewhat worn carpets) - good breakfast buffet - excellent rate (79 EUR at fair time) Drawbacks: - Room (single) was *very* small, hardly room to turn around or work on your laptop at the desk - No A/C, but if you open the window for fresh air, you get treated to the outside noise and lights - Thin walls, got treated to a soundtrack of the lovemaking on one side in the evening and hefty snoring on the other side at night On balance: On a business trip, I would choose this property again. For pleasure or holiday, would look for something a little more roomy
