I don't think we could have picked a nicer hotel if we had tried. Well located next to the train station, bus station, tourist information and a stones throw from the lake. Right from entering this hotel we found the staff to be so helpful, polite and only too willing to please. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was extremely spacious, spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice, something for every taste. We ate out most evenings to try somewhere different every night for the week that we were there but we dined in the hotel on our last evening and the food was excellent. On our last day we had a very late flight and I asked the receptionist if we could have a late check out as we wouldn't be actually be leaving the hotel until 7pm. I thought they would let us stay till about 3pm but straight away she said the room was ours until 7pm. It was worth the extra to be able to go out for most of the day and have somewhere to come back to enabling us to get some sleep and have a shower before the late flight and drive home. If you are looking for somewhere to stay whilst you visit the lake and the amazing places surrounding it then I would recommend this hotel. We are hoping to come back to Friedrichshafen for a second look [so much to see and do, we didn't have time for it all] then this is the hotel we will be staying at!

Fantastic hotel. Very clean and modern and cheap considering the location and the facilities. The breakfast is also very good, with lots of choice and excellent food!
Only a five minute walk away from town, also close to the airport. Plenty to do nearby and is less that an hours drive from the Austria, Swiss and Liechtenstein borders.
Friedrichshafen is a cracking little town, with plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes. Views from the lake are brilliant, and the local people are very friendly.

This hotel is just beside the train station and the tourist office. I needed a hotel for two days in Friderichshafen and the tourist office had a very informative display about the hotels in the city. The Seehotel is a large new hotel with a parking garage which I always value or you can park behind the hotel.
It is a very popular hotel. There were many people at the breakfast early in the morning.
I received a free newspaper each day.
The city center and the lake is just a short walk from the hotel so the location is very convenient.

Not having known what to expect we were delighted to discover that this modern hotel, with an attractive contemporary interior, is ideally located, and staffed by a team of very courteous and helpful staff. We had a spacious room under the eaves with an adjacent staircase to the rooftop garden - ideal for stargazing and capturing passing Zepplins on film. It was ideal.

I used to work in Friedrichshafen and have stayed here a few times.
Location is good, on the lake, good places to walk to. DO take a walk up the road to a great local restaurant, Locullum.
Rooms do not usually look out over the lake (Constance) but more to the sides.
Hotel is fairly modern, rooms a bit minamilistic (but that is typically German)
Always clean. We were a bit cold in our room, asked for thicker duvet, which got sorted after a while.
Breakfast was good, again a fairly typical German affair, good service.
Staff looked after us well.
For a weekend in Friedrichshafen, this is not a bad place to go to.
