I actually used this same headline for another Quality Inn in Kansas City, MO. But, this one was worse. A very sad hotel. The front desk clerk was half awake and a little rude when we came in from driving 15 hours to get there. The town had a wind storm that night and after checking in, we had to go back outside to get to our section of the hotel.
When we arrived, we were greeted by a newspaper stand as a make-shift doorstop and caution tape around the lobby area. No breakfast. The staff could've been a little more considerate to make up for the dirty entrance.
It felt like I was in one of those movies where something bad was going to happen to me that night. That's how the hotel made me feel when I stayed there.

Dirty room, dirty halls and reception area. Terrible mattresses, poorly vacuumed, dirty mirror, filthy stairway, hair everywhere. Absolutely our worst stay on this three-week trip. You definitely do not want to stay at this dump!

Absolutely the worst place I visited on my entire trip out west. The room smelled. The internet and the television didn't work. The restaraunt was horrible. And I woke up with a back ache from the bed. To top it off, it was the most expensive place I stayed in my two weeks on the road. I tried to talk to the manager but all I received was a shrug and a mumbled, "sorry".

Checked into a king room on the first floor. Found the bathroom sink with hair and toothpaste in it and a used washcloth drapped over on the shower rod. Reported this to the desk staff and was moved to another room on the first floor. This second room was worse than the first one. The floor had not been vacuumed and there was a powdery substance and a pill on the floor as well as the bathroom not being cleaned. We checked out and was refunded our money. Would not suggest this hotel due to poor housekeeping. We went to the Comfort Inn and Suites in Rawlins and was very satisfied with the accomdations and cleanliness.

First, there was some confusion about our reservation, and then when we finally received our key card, it hadn't been reprogrammed, so my husband had to go back to the front desk to have that taken care of.
Then, we started to unpack when we received a phone call saying they had mistakenly double-booked our room and we would have to move. At least we only had to move a short distance, but I am ill and pretty disabled, so leaning against the door, waiting for a key card that would work and then having to move was very inconvenient, to say the least. They DID give us a partial refund, the ONLY positive thing to say about our stay here.
Well actually, our room, or should I say rooms, seemed cleaner than the other two reviewers reported, so I guess I can say TWO positive things about the place.
In the middle of the night the fire alarm started to blare. We stumbled around, got dressed and luckily, it was a false alarm; HOWEVER, the alarm continued to blare off and on for the next 2 hours! Needless to say, we didn't get much sleep. Our room actually looked decent, but there were things that needed repairing, such as the bathroom light switch, which had to be jiggled several times before it would come on.
My husband said that the front desk clerk didn't even bother to apologize for the fire alarm fiasco. So, my advice, obviously, is JUST DON'T STAY HERE.
