We have just returned after a 3 night break celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. We found this hotel to be brilliant, it was extremely clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. When we first went up to the room we noticed no curtains on the window, very amusing to us, we went down to reception and were informed they were being washed and would be hung later in the day, sure enough returning after a few our out the curtains were up and all was well. The hotel is metres from the metro line 4 and it took 10 minuted to get to central Paris. The Port Orleans area is clean and we felt very safe walking around at night lots of places to eat and the prices were reasonable prices compaired to central Paris. Had a great time and if we ever return to Paris, which I am hoping we will, it will be to this hotel.

we stayed here from friday to monday. it was close to the conference centre we needed to be by but it's about 30 minutes tube ride to the sights or a 45 minute walk. we had a 5 day tube pass which was about ?35 but worth it as we used the metro alot. from the airport to the hotel took about 1 hour on the metro but was a good experience. it's very hot on the metro so wear cool clothes and take a drink with you!
we paid the same price as our friends who went with us yet they had a view of the street and we had a view of a nasty courtyard. also they had tea and coffee making facilities and we didn't (i'd read that we wouldn't so had taken our travel kettle so not a big deal)
the hotel was clean and comfortable if a little bright. we paid ?240 for 3 nights, which i think is excellent value. the staff were very helpful. we only had breakfast on the last day, preferring to get croissants fresh from a boulangerie, and they didn't charge us for breakfast even though we told them we'd had it.
we went to Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur and Montmarte. we also did a cruise on the seine and had dinner at the eiffel tower before going to the top. we ate at the restaurant on the corner of Port d'orleans by the hotel, which was expensive and good but not as good as it should have been for the price. the bar next to the hotel does pint cocktails for 14 euros!

We stayed at the Paris Orleans hotel for 3 nights over a long weekend recently. The hotel is very near the metro and tram stations, allowing easy access to the centre of Paris. It is based in a suburban area of Paris with good local amenities. The hotel is also in an ideal location if you wish to travel out to Versailles.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable with a decent sized bathroom plus balcony and mini bar. The hotel is decorated with a retro/Hollywood theme and the lobby has a charming Thai influenced decor. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. We chose not to have the rather expensive breakfast at the hotel as we preferred to use the local cafes. Overall we were very impressed with the standard of the hotel and would recommend it as place to stay in Paris, however be aware that it is not located in central Paris.

Just got back from a long weekend away with my girlfriend. Hotel is art-deco style interior with film/music pictures on the walls which makes it a bit different. Very clean rooms, couldn't fault that at all. Reception staff all spoke english and were very helpful. The area is on the outskirts of central paris so there's not a great deal to see locally, but theres still a few restaurants/bars/shops/cafes near to the hotel. It's also a very safe area - we were walking around late at night and felt perfectly fine. The metro stop just outside takes you straight into the centre of paris in about 10mins (right outside notre dame cathedral!) so get a day ticket each day for about 6 euros and you'll be fine. No complaints really, room was slightly on the small side, but we didn't spend much time there as we were always out - all in all, for the price we paid it was a great hotel.
