We booked this hotel as a stopping point on our way to Destin, FL. Upon arrival the hotel looked old and somewhat run down. It took longer than usual to check in despite being the only ones at the desk. We got to our room and were disappointed as it had a foul odor and generally looked old and needed updating. This hotel may be a local hang out as the pool which should have been closed late at night (past 10-11pm) was full of people who were hanging out in and out of pool, drinking and smoking cigars. These people were roaming around and we heard them outside often throughout the night. Vending machines are sparse and we had to walk thru the chaos of the pool to get to them. There are no elevators. The hotel is only 2 floors but keep in mind if you will be bringing alot of luggage or are disabled. The breakfast provided with room is a joke and I would not even consider it in your decision. Again, the front desk provided a slow check out and unfriendly service. I suppose it could have been worse but I was surely glad we were only there for a place to lay our head for a few hours.

Dieses Motel hat eine tolle Lage und man kommt gut herum. Das Zimmer war schön, die Angestellten erstklassig und sie konnten sich nie genug um die Gäste bemühen. Jede Minute hier war schön.

Bin sehr mit dem Hotel zufrieden! Nach einer sehr schlechten Erfahrung im HOSPITALITY SUITES waren wir sehr dankbar, dieses Hotel gefunden zu haben! Bei diesem Sonderangebot und den sauberen Zimmern und guten Frühstück können wir nur die Daumen hoch halten!!!

This hotel needs work but could become a great place to stay. I rented a King non-smoking at a government rate on 7/6/07. Pros: Bed was large and comfortable. Room was large and spacious. Two sinks with mirrors, one in bathroom, one outside. Full length mirror in hall to bathroom. Had both microwave and refrigerator. Good continental breakfast which included pre-packaged frozen sausage biscuit patties (at least they offered one meat product). Good price at governement rate. Cons: Room was damp, need to bring a de-humidifier if you have one. Toilet was easily clogged. Tub/Shower drain was very slow, backed up when in use. Bathroom door dragged on floor making it loud and hard to open. Remote control for TV was only semi-functional, channel up/down and channel recall did not work. Main entry wall switch did not control any lights. Loud occupants yelling across courtyard plus unsupervised children running around until about 10PM. Woman working the continental breakfast was not friendly.

The motel was in a great location, easy to get around. The room was nice. The staff was excellent, and couldn't do enough for us. They made every moment seem enjoyable.
