We found the room to be clean and modern, with a small fridge and room to move (sans sofa bed). Nicely decorated with a balcony which looked into the back of a neighbour's house.. The corridor is a bit narrow though which doesn't leave a lot of room to manevour big suitcases.
The desk staff were quite unfriendly and defensive when we reported a fault with our room (safety catch was missing a part) and queried the bill.
Some good restaurants 10 - 15 minutes walk down the road, although there is one at the hotel which looked quite empty most of the time.

I stayed at this hotel for one night as it was close to the airport and I had to drive to the Sunshine Coast and back for work the next day. It was perfectly situated for this.
The room was very clean and quite spacious and included a lounge which was nice. I was a bit worried that it would be noisy being on a main road, but the traffic noise wasn't too bad. The double windows helped.
I wandered down to the new Portside precinct for dinner and was very pleasantly surprised by this area. A couple of good restaurants to choose from and a cinema - all only a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. It is nice to be able to stroll along the river's edge. Wish I owned a unit there!
Overall a very pleasant stay.

Clean rooms, handy to airport. We didn't find the front desk staff particularly friendly but we were impressed with the restaurant both the meal and the lovely waitress.

A very good experience overall. Our room had a small fridge. Very clean, tidy and comfortable. We found the front desk staff to be very professional and helpful. Most of the rooms have balconies.
We stayed here two nights, one night when we first arrived in Brisbane, and one night before we left. I would definitely stay here again when I need to stay near the airport.
The taxi ride to the airport was $18 Aus. with no traffic on a Sunday morning, but for our first stay, we had arrived on a Friday afternoon and traffic was so intense that it cost $26 Aus. to get to the hotel.
Wireless internet access is available through a third-party provider at fairly reasonable rates, starting at $7.50 per hour Aus. for 1 hour, and less per hour if you buy more hours. You can use it in your room or in the lobby (no computers provided).
There are some excellent restaurants nearby at the new "Portside" area - a short walk, one long block from the hotel. We ate at Chez Laila and I highly recommend it - moderately priced and great food. There's also a very upscale supermarket at Portside. There are also shops and restaurants on Racecourse Road, a 5-10 minute walk, and there is a supermarket over there as well where prices may be lower.
The hotel has its own restaurant. It looked good but we did not eat there.
A note of caution: This hotel is on a major street and for the rooms facing the street, there is a lot of traffic, especially during rush hours when it is bumper to bumper including big trucks. If you are going to be sleeping during the day, you may want to request a room in the back, which is much quieter. The rooms in the back face the backs of some townhomes and their gardens/backyards. Our room (#21) was in the back, so I don't know if the rooms in the front are insulated from the traffic noise or not, but I like quiet rooms, and I definitely would only stay in one of the rooms that is not facing the street.
