Nice Budget hotel

It is a nice budget hotel, especially good if you are travelling with a family and small kids. Their suites are spacy and comfortable. We stayed there with two little kids and used there kitchen (stove, microwave, fridge and dishes extensively). So if you need to use these things by chance, this hotel is perfect. The hotel is a couple of KM away from the downtown core and it takes about 10 minutes in a car to get to parliment building, harbour, etc. Hotel parking is free. The only thing bad about the room we stayed in was that the stove was really old and knobs were coming out.
The front desk staff was friendly.

Victoria en su mejor forma económica

Estancia maravillosa.

The hotel is under a staff shortage right now so,you have to tell housekeeping that you would like your room made up.
The physical shape of the hotel is good, but the beds are in poor shape. Our Queen sized bed was higher on the four corners than in the middle meaning it is time to go or be flipped. We left a maintenance request at the front desk to repair our bathroom towel bar. It was not done and one has to ask if you need to do this regularily as well to get it done.
The pool can be used to chill your beer. It is that cold!
Good luck getting a newspaper delivered on a regular basis to the Corporate floor.
We ordered room service from the Shark's Club on the main level of the hotel. The service delivery time was good, but the food was not fresh. The spinach salad is made with ready cooked hard boiled eggs and the fries are cooked twice making them greasy. The burger patty was not freshly made, but called a bear paw. It had the consistancy of sausage because of all the filler in it.
This hotel is average for the Victoria area. For the money and location, it is a convenient place to stay. You are a twenty minute walk tor a 10 minute bus ride to the tourist district and the Provincial Legislature. The service and physical glitches are due to the booming job market here, but many problems can be corrected with capital investment to the interior of the hotel.

Great stay, came from Toronto and wanted to have a solid budget hotel. This exceeded our expectation! People were friendly, rooms were spacious and clean, seemed to be newly renovated. Only 3 minutes from downtown, I recommend it!

I loved this hotel. We spent two wonderful nights here.
The room was big and very clean. The cleaning staff did a great job. In the room, we had a kitchenette and a small living room area with a couch and a TV. It was very comfortable.
The pool is large and clean and the water was just warm enough.
The hotel istelf is just far enough from downtown Victoria to be relaxing and still close enough to enjoy the sights of the city.
