We arrived exhausted after a transatlantic flight and the front desk clerk checked us in, served us free coffee and juice, and let us wait about 20 minutes until a room was ready at 10 am! We were thrilled to be able to nap for a few hours before heading out for the evening, and have rarely found rooms in Europe that allowed us access to our room before early afternoon. Breakfast was great, staff was helpful, and we walked everywhere from the hotel. Only problem was that our A/C shut off from midnight till 5am each night- when we asked, we were told that thermostat has a timer and we needed to reset the timer, which was certainly not clear from the instructions on the thermostat. We also were under the impression from previous posts that the internet access was free, but that is no longer the case- had to pay 1E for each 15 mins online, which was annoying. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

The BW City Central Vienna is a fabulous hotel. It has a great location that is not too far from the centre of Vienna. The service is wonderful and every morning you have the option of a delicious breakfast. There are several shops, restaurants, cafe's and businesses near the hotel also. Another good thing is that the hotel is next door to Billa Supermarket. The next time I am in Vienna I will be staying at the BW City Central and would recommend anyone else to do the same.

We would recommend this hotel to anyone visting Vienna. It is reasonably priced and we found the lowest rate via the Best Western website. It is well located being only a few minutes walk to the old town and the hop on/off bus. Our room was large by European standards, well equipped, spotlessly clean and with a bay window. The breakfast buffet was also the best we enjoyed on the continent. The highlight was the amazing service provided at the front desk by Mursid Bicer - from his friendly welcome to advice and tour booking he went out of his way to please. Best Western, this gentleman is your best asset and deserves a promotion and raise!

The hotel is a great value and conveniently located right across the bridge from the old city center and walking distance to a subway stop. The guest service was exceptional. The breakfast was excellent and is one good reason to stay there. The room clean and functional, although a little worn. The beds were fine, but the couch and chair were a little uncomfortable. I would stay here again. American travelers should take notice of the traditional European room key policy. Guests receive a key with a bulky and heavy key chain. We did not know that you are expected to leave the key at the desk when departing the hotel, and request it from the clerk when returning, which explained why we received only one key for the two of us. I know better next time. They are probably still chuckling at the stupid Americans, but they were very gracious and accomodating at the time.
