Pros: Great restaurant, beautiful rooms, Aveda toiletry products, great location, and friendly front-desk.
Cons: Took a while to get our car from the valet parking (you have to do valet parking) even though we called for the car before we came down to the lobby it still took 10 minutes.

Good thing for Hotel Phillips that the nearby Hilton had such horrible reservation service. I'm a Hilton Honors Gold member and I rejected the Hilton and stayed at Hotel Phillips instead. Front desk and hotel assistants were pleasant. Perfect location for the Power and Light District. We just parked our car for the night and didn't see it again until check-out. 24 hour room-service. And interestingly enough, they have a 13th Floor.

I was very impressed at the level of service the hotel staff provided. It was a very pleasant visit. The hotel had great charm and character with it's art deco stylings. We were upgraded to a JR. Suite upon arrival. We ate brunch on Sunday in the hotel restraunt, 12 Baltimore and enjoyed the food and the environment of the restraunt as well.
We were traveling with 2 small children. Hotel Phillips would be more suited to couples or business travel, but was very acomidating for my children as well. We were pleased with the entire experiance.

This hotel is rated as a 4* on priceline. I've traveled to many, many 4* hotels, and this hotel is a 2.5 AT BEST. The staff was friendly and helpful. But the room was average. The lobby was dark and uninviting. The location was decent, near the new P&L area. The exercise facilities were obviously outdated and in need of updating. No pool, no hot tub. Nothing to put this hotel above average. $15/day parking fees made the nightly rate even harder to justify.
