This hotel was perfectly adequate for our stay in Brussels. It is nice to stay in a smaller hotel rather than the large corporate ones. The bedroom was large, the bathroom small without any ventilation. Plenty of hot water and a good breakfast. The hotel was not full and our room on the ground floor was very quiet even though it was the only room on that floor and next to the breakfast room overlooking the small garden. The reception staff were delightful and very helpful. Only 5 mins to the tram and about 10 mins to the metro. I would certainly stay there again.

We overnighted here in early May, and were impressed by the size of the rooms and the range of cable TV channels. It is in a reasonable location for exploring the city. Breakfast is OK, but unimaginative; bar soulless. Overall, not a bad stopover in Brussels, at a reasonable price.

Brussels during the week is so expensive, so i booked this place for a change. Its an average price for what you get, in Brussels and for someone coming for a business meeting and out the next day its fine - but saying that, I agree its really not a place for tourists who want a nice hotel to stay in as its abit tired to say the least.
However, trump card for me was the super, super staff, from front house to the breakfast ladies. They were wonderful.
I would recommend this only for business customers on a budget if you can get it at a good price and not at all for anyone else.

Our 5 day stay was poor to start with, the when non of the taxi drivers at Gare du Midi actually knew where the hotel was. The Hotel's name is deceptive suggesting that the Hotel is in the prestigious Avenue Louise which would shares neighbours with the Likes of Louis Vutton, Cartier and the Armani and Versace houses. Actually its on a dirty little side street called Rue de Concorde. The Hotels 4 stars are laughable considering continental starts are much higher than English ones, in which it would be 2 stars at best.
The Lobby was poorly decorated and smelt of food as the hotels lobby/bar is where the diabolical "American Breakfast" is served which is really a continental breakfast with a little stainless steel cupboard with steamed bacon, soggy scrambled eggs and some weird chipilata sausage which is all prepared in a domestic kitchen no bigger than a toilet.
The staff at the Hotel are really the only thing i liked, they are all really nice people who you can easily talk to and did take alot of my critisim rather well but didnt look surprised at all.
The rooms were poor to say the least the first room we had was tiny, the bed was rock hard, the curtains were falling off, the bathroom was freezing and filthy and the wall paper was stained all and its pictures were missing. so after 20 minutes of pondering i complained and got moved to another room which wasn't much better, the bed was softer but uncomfortable for my pregnant girlfreind the wallpaper was peeling off again, the floorboards were creeky which made it impossible to get up in the middle of the night to go the loo without waking my girlfreind up, the minibar was locked and extortionate £3 for a can of coke!! there was mould in the bathroom the curtains fell down on a daily basis it was a joke!!
What was the worst of all, the hotels tariff price of 235 euros per night!!

i booked this hotel for three days soon as we walked in we new it was bad it had a smell of food , cleaner doing reception hovering, washing floors as people were checking in.
we were given a room on thr fourth floor used the lift but still a flight of steep stairs to our room ,curtains hanging off the rail smelly bathroom ,dirty toilet.
so i went down to reception to be offered another room only this one was a smoking room we both dont smoke smell was terible
went back down to recption who tried to contact late rooms but no joy
so we were sent to another hotel in the same chain we had to pay 9euro for a taxi and when we got to the floris avenue our room was not ready and the bar was closed we left our case and went to find a bar to have a well earned drink, we were walking down the street to find we had been sent to an asian community
not very safe not recomended for woman on there own i felt unsafe even with my husband. would not recomend this hotel either and was not 4star
