We stayed at this place because it was just a couple of blocks from where our daughter lives and thought it was very nice. She was able to get a rate of 280 rmb, which translates to about $40 USD for a standard queen size room with normal Chinese hotel amenities including toothbrushes and mini-toothpaste, cheapo but convienent slippers, etc. The bed was also the standard rock hard bed but we we asked for another comforter to be put under the bottom sheet to add some softness and that helped a lot. The staff was very courteous and spoke some English. Very helpful in getting taxi's. Our room was a non-smoking one and there was not a whiff of smoke. Ask for a room away from the dining room on the 4th floor. We were practically across from it and heard dish rattling pretty early in the morning. Although they advertise both western and Chinese breakfast there is no coffee so we opted for Chinese style hot pockets from a local shop two blocks away that my daughter recommended. Nothing fancy, but a good three star hotel more then worth the price.
