stayed in Mar 2007
We have just returned from Brazil and finished our holiday at this hotel. The room was great with a terrace that had a super aerial view of the beach. The rooms were large and were very clean. The staff only spoke a little english but always tried to help. There are 2 pools both with great views. the beach was about a 10 minute walk downhill it was harder going back uphill but often you would be offered a lift back up. the centre was a 10 real taxi fare away but the hotel would always phone for one for us. would not hesitate to return.

Early mid 2005, we had booked a package deal with Travelservice Buzios which incl. Air fares, Hotel Vila Boa Vida, Lot 1, Rua 1 Buzios Ferradura/Brazil and Hotel Marina Palace Ipanema/Rio) for a 2 1/2 months holiday period starting mid Jan 2006. Our son was to follow a month later. Mr. Zappe of Travelservice Buzios not only gave us the run around but wasted our time, energy, not to mention extra costs and abused our emotional health. He betrayed us by not ‘delivering his merchandise.’! We are still waiting for a refund of our money. We can only warn potential guests to book at this hotel or this agent.
The Tourist Office of Brazil certainly does not need such scumbags to interfere with their industry.
