Location is not bad, 10 minutes from the center. I think a new underground station is going to open just next to the hotel this year! Rooms are ok but a bit old, breakfast is ok! If your looking for a budget accomodation this is a good 3 star hotel for Wien!

My Husband and I have just returned home after a 2 night stay at the Hotel Resonanz in Vienna. We would recommend this hotel for a good base close to the sights of Vienna and at a reasonable price. Once we realised you turned right out of the hotel door it took about 15 mins to walk to the centre of Vienna. We would recommend a good map as it can be a little confusing and took us a while to get our bearings. The hotel was extremely clean and friendly and excellent value for money. The room was very comfortable and had all the facilities needed. The bathroom was spacious and clean and fresh towels and toiletries were supplied daily. The only thing I would say is Reception advised us there was a safety deposit box in the room but we did not have one. There seemed to be a space in the wardrobe where it should have been but wasn't. If we had of been staying for longer then I would have said something but as it was we just left it. The breakfast was OK but not wonderful. But it compared to the normal continental breakfasts supplied in European countries. All in all we would say if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel close to the centre of Vienna then the Hotel Resonanz would suit you.

Hotel con buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Posizionato a soli 10 min di camminata da centro di Vienna. Stanze piccole ma accoglienti, bagno con doccia spazioso, nuovo, e pulito. Colazione poco variegata ma buona e abbondante. Personale gentile. Per chi arriva in Auto: Nessun Parcheggio privato e quello pubblico ( il Karmelitermarkt ), situato a soli 550m ma è abbastanza costoso (41 euro per sole 48 ore di sosta...)

We arrived in a heatwave. There was no airconditioning but, amazingly, no fridge to keep water cool. although the room was nice. Then the electricity failed. It seems this happens regularly as the receptionists fiddle with a screwdriver. the receptionist refused to contact the manager as time passed with no electricity, She appeared to be afraid. We had to contact the police to get any action. I also had some money stolen. Very stressful although it could easily be a pleasant place if there were a manager on premises.

I stayed here on business and thought it was a fairly good deal. I paid 55 euros for a tiny snigle room with private bathroom. The room was so narrow I almost had to walk in sideways! It was hot, and I had to use the fan, which took up even more space. There was a wardrobe to hang my clothes in, and a chest of drawers. I also had a TV. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also small, but perfectly functional. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff very helpful and friendly. The area isn't the most fantastic part of Vienna, but it's reasonably convenient. You take a tram or a 15-minute walk to Swedenplatz, which is more in the center of things.
