We were looking for a cheap stay in Paris, and we wanted to stay in a hotel. For ?62 a night (standard double room) this little hotel is a very good alternative for travelers on a budget! Our room had a nice bathroom with bathtub and a good shower, and the beds were comfortable. There was also a small TV with CNN and EuroNews (if anyone have the nervs to watch those boring channels) The staff was nice and helpful, spoke good English. Le Petit Dejeuner (= breakfast, pardon my French) costs ?6 and is worth it if you're a light-eater in the morning. Good coffee (several choices - i.e cappucchino) and fresh croissants and small baguettes. Safety boxes that you can use whenever you want, 4 euros a day. We thought that the location was great! Just a couple of blocks away from Jules Joffrin metro station, in a quiet area, with small caf?s, none of the hordes of tourists that you see everywhere else in Paris. And a block away we found a little night-open shop where we could buy water ans fruit when we arrived to Paris late. Remember though, that the place has no elevator (as far as we know), so you may have to carry your suitcases in the narrow steps. Another thing: We regret that we didn't try the little red Montmartre-bus that goes pass Jules Joffrin metro station, and apparently continues into the steep hills of Montmartre, all the way to Pigalle metro station near Moulin Rogue. Don't make the same mistake!

Stayed there with my mother who was a first time traveller to Europe and we both enjoyed our 'nights' at the hotel... night is a good term since in Paris all you need is a clean bed and this is what the hotel offered. Rooms were tiny but had ranging space and were newly renovated and painted! Reception staff is bilingual and friendly ( except the night shift guy very weird) Breakfast was nice with fresh pastries and cheese ! EXCELLENT Location.. 2 mins from Place du Tertres and the beauties of montmartre... All in all.. great lil place.. but dont expect luxury or anything similar to an american hotel! Very BASIC hotel! a bed, a reception, croissants thats it ! would go again

Great wee hotel, basic but spotlessly clean. Provided an adequate breakfast to start you off for the day. Was a bit dubious about staying here after reading the previous reviews but the hotel has obviously been refurbished and my husband and I had no complaints at all re the hotel or the staff who were friendly enough. 2 mins from the nearest metro station, all in all we had a pleasant stay.

I stayed here for 4 days. with my daughter (her first visit to Paris). We enjoyed what was really a suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms etc but adjoining! The hotel was very clean, had been well refurbished, and breakfast was quite adequate with breadrolls, croissants, cereals, yogurts, cheese,ham etc. Although situated on high street the hotel was quiet because of d/glazed windows. I know Paris and this is a good area at the foot of Sacre Coeur but NOT on Pigalle side. The hotel is only about 10mins walk from Metro (Jules Joffre) outside of which a free regular minibus conveyed you to Sacre Coeur and it was also on the bus route direct to Arc de Triomphe etc The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave excellent advice should you need this. We enjoyed our stay and I would strongly recommend it to anybody who is seeking reasonably priced B & B accommodation.

This small but cosy hotel is very well situated in an animated street and few minutes from the Sacré Coeur. The room we lodged in was perfect for 2 and the hotel seems to have been recently renovated. The hotel was clean in general. The staff was very helpful especially to advise us on places to visit. Breakfast was fine with enough to eat. We would highly reccommend this hotel to those wishing to enjoy the Parisian life during their stay.
