Our party of three stayed here in June and were generally pleased. The location could not be better for anyone wishing to walk to the Louvre, Mus?e D’Orsay and Champs d’Elys?es, as well as the Tuilleries Gardens. In addition, there is a Le Pain Quotidien bakery around the corner, with wonderful organically sourced pastisseries, huge salads and other meals, as well as a Monoprix supermarket not much farther. Upscale shops are also nearby.
The innkeeper and staff were pleasant and helpful. We had no real problem with our room, except for the bathroom. It was an insert a step above floor level, painted a dark maroon colour with little lighting. Every time we used the shower, the floor flooded with water. Our other party’s room, however, had a new bathroom that was bright and cheerful. If you choose to stay here, be sure to inquire about the bathroom.

I stayed here with my dad and he thought it was terrible. The room was smaller than my bathroom and it only had one double bed. I slept okay that night but dad couldn't sleep at all. Unlike most of the people who have stayed here, we actually spend some time at the hotel, so this wasn't acceptable. We were supposed to stay for two nights, but we checked out the second day and went to a Holiday Inn Express up by Charrles De Gaulle Airport. It's a good location, the bathroom is okay, and it's air-conditioned, but I'm not coming back to this hotel.

We just got back from Paris and stayed at the Prince Albert hotel behind the louve. The location is fabulous- you couldnt ask for better. However on our first night we were very disappointed. We knew from other reviews that the rooms would be crampted etc and we were prepared for this. Our bed was less than a metre from the door. The door had a 1-1.5cm gap between it and the frame in which the hall way light and noise came straight through. We hardly slept the first night due to the noise which ranged from kids running up and down the hall ways at 6am, people walking above us in the middle of the night- sounded like they were about to fall through the ceiling and the people next door talking all night in which we could hear every word of their conversation.
We tried to look for other hotels in the area however they were mostly booked. We then asked the manager if we could change rooms. We were instantly upgraded into a slightly bigger room, with less noise, and nicer finishings. We slept really well for the next 2 nights. This room was 120 euros compared to our 109 euro original room. On check out however they charged us the original amount which was much appreciated. We didnt even have to ask! We did get the room for 107 euros as we booked online through their website.
Both rooms could have been cleaner- I dont think they were vaccumed at all. The bathrooms were big than I expected and were clean however our shower leaked a little.
In saying all this the staff were absolutely fantastic, so lovely, friendly and always smiling. They were more than willing to give us advice and help when needed. The lobby in the hotel is cute.
Again the location is amazing. However I must say I doubt we'd stay there again. If you do stay there it is so worth paying extra for a slightly better room.

I came to this hotel after fifteen hours of flying with a twelve hour layover in Doha airport and was unable to sleep during all the traveling. I arrived at the hotel early in the morning barely aware of the existence of the time-space continuum, and maybe managed to say, "bonjour." They could not have been more helpful to me in my sorry state.
The hotel was full and so they did not have a room to offer for an early check in (at 8am.) They insisted that I have some coffee and breakfast and then held my large amount of luggage while I went out for a bit. When I came back, I was ready to collapse and they told me that they would give me the first available room. They gave me a big upgrade for free and were very gracious about my early arrival
The room is clean (with a nice print as decoration) and the bed is comfortable with plenty of extra bedding available. The furnishings are at least what I expect for the prices they charge, if not better.
The location is quiet and very close to lots of sights, a grocery store, an outdoor market and plenty of cafes and bars. I am very pleased with everything about this hotel.
