We stayed at this hotel after being told that it had been refurbished over the winter. We found out a new front had been put on the hotel, 'psuedo air con' installed, some low grade furniture installed in the rooms and very little else.
The hotel is in the worst part of Arenal, noisy throughout the night, but very convenient for the beach and shops.
The rooms are small and cramped, the furniture preventing the wardrobe doors from fully opening.
The lift is very slow and small and totally inadequate for this size hotel. The newly installed air con simply recirculates the warm air and is totally ineffectual. The temperature in the dining room often reached over 35 degrees and one guy actually fainted in the dining room, possibly due to the heat.
The food is very poor quality, cheap cuts of meat, usually in batter. Can you believe we were offered cooked tongue for the main course ?????
All the food including breakfast eggs are pre-cooked and left to stand. Fresh fruit was noticeable by its absence.
This is certainly not the cheapest hotel but must surely be near the bottom of the league for satifaction.
Never again for me.

Nouvelle Frontière Express commercialise cet hôtel avec d'autres opérateurs. Il s'agit de NF Express, donc attention, si vous appelez ceratains numéros 08 ce n'est pas forcément NF que vous aurez, mais NF express, même si vous avez trouvé ce numéro sur leur site. Donc attention, les formules de voyages sont très différentes. Et c'est bien le cas du San Diego, dans la pire zone de Palma, mais quand même à 12 km du centre. 10 étages, une ascenceur très lent et rare, des chambres individuelles avec supplément alors qu'elles sont vraiment minuscules, une déjeuner à peine passable ( oeufs froids, machine à café en panne, etc..) dîner indigne ( nourriture bâclée) personnel à peine aimable. C'est une vraie arnaque.

Cet hôtel ne mérite pas trois étoiles : chambres individuelles minuscules, petit dej médocre, dîner très médiocre. Tout est en supplément et vraiment pas donné. Personnel peu aimable.
