When reading everyone's reviews, my husband and I had trepidations going to this hotel. We purchased a special package that included this hotel. What a pleasant surprise. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was surpisingly varied and tasty. If you are looking for a hotel with a nightlife, this isn't it. This is a place to put your head down in a quiet area of town. We loved that there was no reverly down below and that the hotel was extremely quiet at night, even from the other guests. A block up and two blocks to your left is a tram area that will take you all over the city. You purchase a ticket from the Tabek store across the street. You can ride the tram all day for a specific price about 5.7 Euros. If you decide to walk into the center of town it is about a twenty to thirty minute walk, which we found to be no hardship at all. We enjoyed are stay. If you are going to be touring all day, the hotel is a great place to crash at night for a good night's sleep. And the staff were exceptionally helpful.

sconsigliatissimo!!!!!!!!!! negativo in tutto. la camera dove alloggiavamo la prima sera era il ghiaccio . i condizionatori erano rotti e alla reception per darci 2 coperte supplementari abbiamo dovuto aspettare 40 minuti. il giorno dopo ci hanno cambiato stanza, anche qui condizionatore rotto e gelo per tutta la notte. il personale d'accoglienza spesso lasciava trapelare segnali di insofferenza dopo i nostri ripetuti solleciti. l'ascensore e' del dopoguerra (e' un montacarichi vecchissimo). hotel fatiscente vetusto e non assolutamente un 4 stelle come segnalato, ma neanche un 2 stelle per di piu' e' lontano dal centro di vienna (35 40 minuti di cammino quindi impensabile raggiungere le principali attrazioni a piedi). e' sito in una zona morta della citta' (anche se non pericolosa). dopo le 20.00 non c'e' piu' nulla. colazione niente di che . un consiglio spassionato NON CI ANDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! con lo stesso prezzo pagato , prendete (se prenotato in tempo)un signor albergo in centro. valutazione complessiva zero assoluto..... fidatevi!!!!!!!!!!!

I would not recommend this hotel as it's far from the centre and rooms are the most basic you can have. I stayed in a single room and it was so small. Ma famille et moi avons fait récemment un voyage à Vienne. Nous avons séjourné à l’hôtel Albatros, que je ne vous conseille pas. Les chambres sont petites mais propres. Cet établissement a quatre étoiles, mais ne dispose tout simplement pas des commodités d’un 4 étoiles. Il prétend être climatisé, mais la température dans notre chambre était très chaude. Quand on ouvrait la fenêtre la nuit, il y avait tant de bruit de circulation et de travaux de construction qu’il était difficile de dormir. Les employés n’étaient ni accueillants ni agréables. L’hôtel, qui se trouve à 10 minutes de la station de métro la plus proche, n’est pas central. Le buffet du petit déjeuner en revanche était très bon. Le slogan de cet hôtel est : "Votre sourire, c’est notre métier". Mais franchement, rien dans cet hôtel ne nous a fait sourire !

My family and I recently returned from a trip to Vienna. We stayed at the Hotel Albatros. I definitely would not recommend this hotel. The rooms are small but clean. This hotel is rated 4 Star but simply did not have the amenities of a 4 Star Hotel. The hotel claims to be air conditioned. Our rooms were extremely uncomfortable from a temperature stand point. When opening the window, the street was so noisy from traffic and room construction, it was difficult to sleep at night. The hotel staff was not friendly or welcoming. The Hotel Albatros is a 10 minute walk to the closest subway station - not centrally located. The buffet breakfast was quite good. The hotel's motto was, "Your smile is our job." Honestly, there was nothing about this hotel that made our family smile!
