After reading many reviews and searching for the ideal hotel we booked the Three Corners Palmyra. As a young couple who have never visited Egypt before we were anxious about the horror stories of bad stomachs and on what food's to avoid. We never suffered from an upset stomach but we were careful on what we ate. We ate in the restaurant on many evenings but tended to avoid breakfast and lunch as it consisted of Pasta and Potatoes. The hotel does try to cater for all nationalities and does so really well. The food was very basic and on many days was repeated but if you do opt to eat out there are various different restaurants in Nama Bay with staff that do speak very good English and the food in the restaurants where we ate was excellent, Pizza Hut, T.F.I Fridays and an superb Seafood Restaurant close by.
The Staff at the hotel were very helpful especially the Reception Staff and Pool Bar Staff, they spoke English well and always did there best to help us. They arranged the Taxi Journeys for us when we went out at evening and if you do tip the bar staff they will do favours in return. All in all the staff were excellent and did everything they could to provide a warm welcome on arrival which included drinks and sandwiches.
A safe is provided within the reception area and is free of charge, there is also a Pool Room which is charged by the hour.
The hotel as a whole for cleanliness and friendliness is fantastic. The staff were there when you woke and there when you went to bed. The pool staff never seemed to stop working. Entertainment isnt a huge hit for the night time entertainment but paying ?2 Sterling you can make your own entertainment in Nama Bay
We did go on trips out which we booked through the hotel wqhich included swimming with dolphins and quad biking, we also visited the Beach which is a short hotel bus ride away. There is a Beach bar which does provide drinks and sandwiches, excellent for snorkelling and for capturing some pictures of the coral and fish with an underwater camera. Water shoes would be advised though as the coral is quite sharp.
We would like to say a big thank you to all the staff and for making our holiday what it was.

After reading some of the reviews on here i am wondering if these people actually stayed at this hotel !!!!!
Not really sure what a lot of people expect when they travel abroad, its never going to be like home !!!!
if thats what they were expecting maybe they should of stopped away,
i found my return stay as pleasurable as my 1st, greeted on arrival by friendly staff, an imaculate reception area, room was exceptionally clean, and every day cleaned to same standard,
food was hot and choice was plenty, anybody who said the food was not good or non plentiful then must of been very very fussy, some foods i am not keen on but didnt go hungry once,
i had my birthday whilst there and a cake was made for me and the kitchen and resterant staff bought it out singing and chanting in there own tradition, which i thought was brilliant,
we are visitors in there country and have to appreciate there tradition and ways, how many people do we know work 18 hour days never complain and start work the next day as happy as the previous day, animation team keep guests amused as do the pool bar workers,
resterant staff keep tables clearn as do the cleaners maintaining the hotel and pool,
i would without hesitation as a single traveller go back to this hotel, i am made to feel safe and welcom,

I would first of all like to say and I am definately a realistic person and certainly give an honest and fair opinion.
After reading reviews for this hotel I was so positive about staying herel.
I found overall the hotel was acceptable, however there were so many problems with the hotel it made your stay irritable and poor.
The grounds were beautiful but the lighting was terrible, you could barely see at some points. This is the same for your room hotel itself and especially the dining hallWhen your trying to eat all you want to do is see your food.! . Also there was a continuous bad smell around the grounds it was like sewage, which really got on your nerves after it never went away.
Speaking of the dining hall - "flies" what a pain in the [-] they are everywhere, inside all over the food , on you in the reception. Inside the hotel you cannot escape them. This put me off as they should have done more about the flies for food hygiene.
I must say the variety of the food was great however they didn't rotate the selection enough which made it repetitive.
Our rooms were cleaned everyday and the space was great but check your nicely folded towels as I am sure they were my dirty ones from the day before.
The beach was quite an experience to be honest the only reason we went there was for the excellent red sea besides that the beach is a dirt hole and you really would think you were in a poor poverty country.
Staff overall were ok and friendly but don't be kidded by reviews saying they will do anything for you beacause they don't. I got tired of asking.
Nabq bay is great though so I would recommend any hotel here just not this one, honestly!
