The hotel is situated within 5 mins walk from train station which is helpful as I had a big luggage to lug around. I stayed one night there, doing a day trip to Eggishorn. The room was small but cosy giving a partially blocked view of the mountain behind Brig. The food spread was adequate with sufficient choices but I only had breakfast there so nothing much to write about.. Stefan was helpful and nice. The hotel is also near the Migros and other shops including souvenir shops, restaurants, etc. Overall the stay was excellent and memorable. If you not too demanding, the hotel offers value for money, warm and cosy, good location and adequate gastronomic delights. Two thumbs up!

Hotel short distance from station and easy to find in a quiet street. Basic hotel but had everything you could need and very clean. Good breakfast for its grade, and friendly staff. Walking around Brig we thought the Ambassador is better than any other hotel. We had one of the cheapest rooms that had a very small shower room/wc but very adequate as there is little reason to stay in Brig except for good access to all parts of Switzerland, spectacular train journeys and the Aletsch Glacier.

We have just returned from our 'Grand Tour of Europe' and our first stop was at the Ambasssador Hotel in Brig - we had two nights here and it was lovely. The Hotel was very cosy, the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner very enjoyable. We loved it and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Brig was lovely and actually we liked it more than the slightly 'tacky' Zermatt. The train ride to Zermatt however was really lovely with some stunning scenery. Martigny was also a very pretty place and worth a visit. We covered almost 2500 miles but enjoyed every minute of the experience. Back to the Ambassador though we loved it - thank you all so much for your kindness.

The hotel was excellent, an ideal spot near both the station & village centre. Our room was large with a good view of the mountains and a balcony. We found everyone very helpful there. The breakfast & main meals very tastey with a good choice. We would definitely recommend it. Good value too.

We recently stayed for 2 nights in Hotel Ambassador in Brig.It is in a very quiet street with off-street parking behind it. The location is excellent- 300 metres walk to the train station to catch trains to many parts of Switzerland and up to Zermatt. We did a day trip to Zermatt from here and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the main shopping and restaurant streets in Brig. Brig is a very attractive town in a spectacular location with a backdrop of snow-covered mountains. The room was very comfortable- a good size, well-heated and well-equipped.The buffet breakfast was very good with plenty of variety. the hotel is very clean and the staff are very helpful. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area- it is very good value for money.
