Please be aware of having your breakfasts at this hotel.
We booked the hotel over the internet and got a reasonable price.
When we went down to breakfast on the first morning we assumed that breakfast must be in the price of the room as there was no-one about to stop you helping yourself to what was on offer (and it seemed liked there was no-one who cared.)
If it hadn't have been for one of our friends (who was also staying there) who had asked for their account the night before they left we would not even have known until we checked out!
The person on reception apparently is 'very on the ball' and eye balls anyone and everyone, who has anything.
Breakfast is charged at 9.50 euros each and finishes at 10.30.
On the first morning we got down at 10.25 (don't ask) and we helped ourselves from what was left (not a lot!) We literally had a coffee (which was awful) a yoghurt and a piece of toast. The 2nd morning we managed to get down for about 9.30 and to be honest there was even less to choose from.
One of the mornings (can't remember which) I asked one of the female staff if there was anymore eggs or bacon and she just shrugged her shoulders and said 'all gone!'
Like I said earlier it is only when you do get your bill you realise that you have been charged for this over priced breakfast, no matter how much or how little you have had.

Bon hôtel
Guest name: Anonymous
Good hotel

We stayed here on the 3rd leg of our drive around Languedoc-Roussillon.
Location-excellent. Good restaurants and old town less than 5mins walk away.
Room- clean, decent size, comfortable, A/C, modern bathroom, powerful shower, lovely large balcony.
Parking-we found Perpignan very confusing to drive around and got lost many times, so beware! There is a secure underground public carpark just next to the hotel (Wilson), although this does work out quite expensive.
The staff were also very helpful. We would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel from 13th to 16th January 2007. The staff were charming and most helpful.
The room , 303, was both clean and freshly decorated. The towels and sheets were spotless. There are great views from the balcony of the room over the small flower market and surrounding area.
The public areas were clean and well appointed. The self service continental breakfast was well presented and provided a good and varied choice of food. They even provide teapots and BOILING water.
This hotel is centrally located for visiting all the local places of interest. There is a bus stop outside for the SNCF station and for the beach at Canet Sud.
This was good value for money and we would certainly choose to stay at this hotel again.
Great Central Position

Lovely small central hotel, although public areas are a bit dated, rooms are nice and clean.
Staff very friendly and helpful, ideal for a short stay.
Perpignan as a city is well worth a visit with lots of variety and lovely places to sit and watch the world go by , but can see why some call it 'dog poo city'
