Hotel Kyriad Centre Gare in Lille is very convenient for both the Eurostar station (10 minute walk) and the centre of Lille. It's in the cheaper price bracket when booked via Eurostar with average decor and the rooms are very small. On the plus side it has a kettle and the breakfast for 7 Euro was excellent.

L’hôtel Kyriad Centre Gare de Lille est très pratique à la fois pour se rendre à la gare de l’Eurostar (10 minutes de marche) et pour aller dans le centre de Lille. Ce n’est pas le moins cher lorsque vous réservez avec Eurostar et le décor est moyen et les chambres très petites. Côté positif, il y a une bouilloire et le petit déjeuner à 7 euros était excellent.

We used the hotel as a stopover hotel on our way too and back from the south of france. Rooms are OK. But the bathroom plumbing leaves something to be desired. We had two different rooms - one had a shower which took all night to drain fully. The second room had a sink which was still full of water when we left! Hotel is very centrally located, on a lively square of late night takeaways. Also the rooms and bedding as clean as I would have liked.
