Malheureusement l'acceuil chaleureux ne peut faire oublier la piétre qualité des prestations. La chambre donnant sur le parking n'était pas très propre et sentait l'humidité. Les moins Odeur de moisi difficlement soutenable. Impossible mettre le chauffage en route. Accés internet Gratuit mais bande passante inexistante Salle de bains mal nettoyée avec de vielles traces de calcaire Les couvertures n'ont pas du être aéréé depuis longtemps Nourriture à la limite de la fraicheur Les plus Prix très bas (Mais vu les prestations c'est normal) Assez Calme malgré la proximité de l'aéroport de Geneve. Patronne très serviable et joviale. Je ne pense pas y retourner de si tôt

I stay regularly in the Geneva area, and prefer hotels on the French side with internet access and A/C. I have stayed several times at the Campanile over the last couple of years and am overall very satisfied. The rooms are small but adequate, with a counter/desk across the entire front wall - convenient for getting some work done. The wireless internet access works but particularly in the evenings gets very slow. Don't depend on it if you need a lot of bandwidth. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms were clean. There is a little noise of people going by if you are on the ground floor, but it isn't bad. My only real complaint is that the parking spaces are very small (even by Euro standards) and the hotel is used by a lot of truckers so it can be a challenge to fit a car in. The staff at the desk were friendly and helpful, though their English seems pretty minimal (I speak adequate French). I did not eat in the restaurant, though it looked good.

I just returned from a 4 day stay at the Campanile hotel in Ferney Voltaire. Located just beyond the Swiss:France border (15-20 mins from Geneva airport), the hotel is in a very nice countryside area. Staff were extremely polite, friendly and happy to help us. However they spoke little English (although they did try very hard) and it would have been better if I had a French phrasebook to help with communication! The purpose of my trip meant that I had to be in Geneva during the day, therefore I had the option of walking 15 minutes to the bus stop and catching the F bus which took me close to the Palexpo. Another option was a taxi ride which would have cost about 20 euros. Another caution here is that the taxi arrived late on a couple of occasions so i would leave sufficient time for the journey. The hotel provide a hearty selection of breakfast items. We dined at the hotel restaurant on the first night and all of us chose the steak dish of the day. Food was nice, filling and there was plenty of choice for desert. Rooms are small but very neat for what it is. Bathrooms were clean and towels replaced almost everyday. On the whole, the decor is a little dated and could very well do with some updating. However, I found that could be overlooked as our stay was short and staff were lovely. During my stay, I was never disturbed by sounds from adjacent rooms so I'm guessing that this isn't a problem.
