Small no frills hotel with great staff, great food, great location at a great price! Thats it!

Hotel was OK, clean and friendly staff. Good for an over night stop but a bit limited for space and luggage for anything longer. The restaurant was the problem, it was the worst meal we've ever had in France, there are great places nearby especially the Cote d'argent so go there. They reduced our bill and they were apologetic. The area is great for kids and we would recommend this part of calais for a short break.. But eat somewhere else!

Arrived in a downpour, but the staff were welcoming. We ate in the restaurant and had a good meal for a reasonable price - nothing fancy. The room was ok, basic and in need of refurbishment, not helped by one bed-leg collapsing! Complimentary tea & coffee but I had to ask for milk from the bar, and a little jug was provided gladly. Breakfast buffet was very adequate for the price. On the whole, we probably won't use the Kyriad brand again, prefer Campanile.

We stayed for 4 nights and found the hotel was easy to find, right opposite the beach. The staff were very friendly and efficient and although they speak good english they didn't ridicule me when i tried out my schoolboy French. The family room was very clean with en-suite and the beds were made and clean towels were provided every morning, the cleaners did an excellent job. The only thing that slightly spoiled it was the window was a little small and we had to sit on our daughters bed to see the beach. The resteraunt was good and the waiters were very pleasent.

We stayed overnight after a long drive from Brittany, before catching a ferry back to Dover the next day. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Room had sea view and we could watch the ferries. Staff very friendly and speak good English. Good for young children, restaurant has children’s menu and vegetarian options. It has a good play area in the restaurant which is great for amusing young children after a long drive. Also good is an excellent park very close by, good after being cooped up in a car for ages. Only negative, is the window in the bedroom with a single bed under it which my 3 year old liked to look out of. Needs constant supervision.
