Stayed here during a trade exhbition at the new exhibition halls near the airport.
Clean functional room. Lots of friendly eating and drinking locations on-site and access to tram stop with 20 min journey time to central Stuttgart.
Hotel has spa which is very German i.e no clothing allowed.... but is very good.
Also good (but not free) parking. Go to P3 for high vehicles.

I do quite a lot of business travel and am somewhat of a jaded traveller - after a while, all hotels seem to take on a boring sameness.
However, I was in Stuttgart on business and was traveling with some colleagues who had stayed at the Millennium before and advised me to stay there as well. I'm glad that I listened to their advice!
The Millennium Hotel is located across from the Daimler Chrysler building in Stuttgart. There are too many activities to mention within walking distance. The Millennium actually comprises two towers connected by a set of shops and restaurants. Across from the hotel are a series of cinemas.
There is a large, convenient parking lot annexing the building and the tram stop is right in front of the complex.
I must begin by saying that I was very fortunate -- my room also doubled as a conference room where my group got together to talk strategy, so I had a large adjoining room as part of my suite.
My room was at the top of the building, and afforded a wonderful view of the Daimler building and the Stuttgart skyline. During the day, the view was beautiful, but at night, all the lights lit up the skyline and it was very impressive to behold the wonder of Stuttgart.
I was very, very impressed with the quality of everything in my hotel room/conference room. There seemed not to be any small detail left out. The room possessed European cleanliness of form and fashion -- the aesthetic was just right.
My room featured a very large king size bed - the quality of the mattress and bedding was outstanding. There was more than ample storage space in drawers, open and closed closet spaces. The wood used in the closets, drawers, and doors was beautiful.
The room had a very large bathroom - with all the latest European/German designed creature comforts.
The staff at the Millennium Hotel were simply outstanding. As an American who speaks very little German, I had no problems communicating. They were the model of German efficiency.
As mentioned previously, the Millennium Hotel is more of a complex containing various shops and restaurants. As an American abroad, one of my most interesting and enjoyable moments was going to the Irish Bar (that's right - an Irish Bar in Germany) where two Germans were playing American and English 60's, 70's, and 80's music. There was a good-natured crowd there every night. THEN, at about 10:00 PM, the theaters across the street let out, and it seemed that EVERYONE came to the Irish Bar for more fun. One of the funniest sites I've ever seen was seeing the entire bar packed with Germans, dancing arm-in-arm, singing John Denver's "Country Road" at the tops of their voices. Priceless!
Bottom line, for the combination of quality appointments, excellent staff and service, proximity to everything in Stuttgart, ambiance, and joie de vivre, I highly recommend this hotel to all visitors.

I stayed for a week on business .. I was in the 'standard' tower which I was afraid would be old but it was fine. I think they are remodeling the rooms because mine seemed to have crisp, clean features and a modern bath (shower, no tub). I also heard some construction going on but very low noise level ... never saw any workers and was never bothered by noise. The place is huge .. like Las Vegas huge ... I think the reception said 26 bars and restaurants ... a tunnel goes under the street to more restaurants ... movies ... I never even saw the spa. Breakfast was included and had anything anyone could need ... hot, cold .... a chef making eggs ... plenty to get you started on a day of touring. The on-site train station was great .. 2.30 Euro into town with one change of train... takes about 30 minutes. I took a cab several times at 10 times the cost and almost no time saved ... no real reason not to use the train. If you absolutely feel that you must have an in-town location, this is probably not for you. I didn't feel that there was so much going on in the lovely downtown of Stuttgart that I was missing anything.
Downtown Stuttgart - Absolutely one of the nicest tourist offices I have seen right on the main pedestrian street (Konig Strasse - King's Road) .. take the 2 1/2 bus tour .. 8 Euro includes admission to the TV tower.

Wow! This is one of a kind hotel in Germany by a long way!
I arrived at the hotel within just 5 minutes from the Stuttgart Airport and first impression made me breathless. It was a very modern hotel, the staff was friendly and very supportive no language barrier at all.
Their service is superb, they made me feel like I’m at home. Next best thing about the hotel is the entertainment complex. I had loads of fun and you would definitely like their 6-screen movie theatre, and not to mention the casino. I am very conscious about my daily workouts, so the gym was useful. The room that I stayed was very neat and comfortable; I really liked its settings.
This hotel is absolutely worth a stay and facilities-wise very advanced. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
