Decided to stay here as a result of reading Trip Advisor. We were very pleased with our decision. Very good location, the rooftop terrace for drinks in the evening and also the place for breakfast were excellent. Staff were very helpful as well. Would stop there again. Rooms and all bed all good.

We initially had a problem when we checked in. We had booked this hotel thru the Starwood (SPG) guest website and chose it by it's reputation and location. We booked the hotel for 3 guests, when we arrived they were shocked to discover that we were a party of three, this threw them into a frenzy and they implied that we were mistaken. They finally agreed to supply us with a rollaway bed at an additional charge of 140 Euro per day, bringing the total cost to 600 Euros per day. The website should inform you that their rooms are not of a size that can accommodate three guests and that there will be an additional charge. Otherwise the hotel and it's service level were wonderful, the location is on a very quiet calm street which is nice in this bustling city. In retrospect we felt that the hotel was a little old fashioned and located in an area that may have been popular at one time but not anymore. We returned to Rome at the end of our trip and stayed in a different area of the city near the Via Condotti and found it much more lively and interesting.

Nice but outrageously expensive

Hotel Eden is a nice clean pleasant hotel with friendly staff however it is very expensive for what you get. We stayed 6 nights at 380euro/night not including breakfast. Concierge very helpful. However breakfast 58 euros a head, internet in roon 60cents a minute!! and minibar and roomservice outrageous, a small tobelerone from minibar 8 EUROS!!! We didnt mind paying for a comfortable stay in rome and had a great trip but room was small enough. Have paid less for far more superior 5 star hotels, would rate this hotel as 4 star and expensive.

I stayed here for a total of 4 nights. Nothing was a problem. The staff was so accomodating one felt as if they were leaving family. The site is perfect near the via veneto yet no crowds. The rooms are clean, classic, and yet have modern ammenities. Expensive but well worth it. Once you stay here in Rome you may find it hard to stay anywhere else
