Reliable choice in Riverside

Stayed here for two nights on business. My company paid $169 per night.
Location: Central Riverside. Across the street from the Riverside Convention Center. Good location to get around the Inland Empire. Parking provided in a controlled-access garage.
Check in: Pretty good. If you are a Silver Rewards member, you get a coupon good for the free continental breakfast. The full breakfast buffet is only a $5 upcharge from there. Not sure what it is without the coupon.
Room: the room was a pretty stadard Marriott room. it was clean and comfortable. Not a huge fan of the short fat Marriott pillows. But I cope. The room had a couch and desk. $10 a day for the internet access. The curtains don't close all the way.
Food: Breakfast was quite good and I was happy I went with the full buffet. The bar was good with a decent beer selection although it closes at 11PM.
Check out was quick. They have an internet terminal in the lobby where you can print boarding passes.
Overall, its a reliable choice in Riverside. Its a standard Marriott, so you know pretty much what you are going to get. The price wasn't cheap. But I didn't shop around much. probably more of a business hotel than anything else.

I have stayed at the Marriott in Riverside several times on business and have not written a review, but I thought I would say that the property is very consistent over the 3+ years I have been staying there.
I would sugges booking a room on the concierge floor as the evening receiption and breakfast are very nice and in most cases take care of dinner and breakfast - although I'm a light eater.
The staff is helpful and professional and the rooms are standard Marriott - which is good.
The ammenities in the bathrooms are great - Bath & Body Works products which are very nice.
A safe bet in Riverside and a good location.

This hotel had a very nice lobby and a very good restaurant. It's right next door to the Riverside Convention Center. It's not a great hotel for vacation-- but the city of Riverside isn't either.
I thought the rooms were nice. Pretty clean. However, the hotel charges an extra $10 a day for internet and $8 a day for parking (I advise you rent a car, you can get bored really fast in Riverside). Also, I tried going to the Starbucks down the street for internet access, but it was way too slow, so I just paid the extra $10.

I travelled to Riverside on business, and booked this hotel based on the other reviews on this site. I typically go with Marriott when on business trips, and this was one of the nicer properties I've stayed at. My room was very clean, spacious, and had a view of the pool. The customer service was great during my short stay, and the room service was prompt w/ decent food. It was also in a convenient location next to the limited things that Riverside has to offer - most importantly, there was a Starbucks across the street. They also had a really nice fitness center with elliptical trainers, which is not always the case with many hotels.
I'm pretty particular about hotels, and I would definitely stay here again if I ever have to come back to Riverside (hopefully, I won't). :)

Stayed for two nights in mid December.
Location - close to the Mission Inn and Convention Center, otherwise there is not a whole lot else to do in Riverside.
Property - clean, very nice lobby, there is Hertz car rental place in the lobby. The restaurant is good - moderately priced, food is reasonable, nothing special. Martinis that they advertise in the elevators are actually pretty decent, and worth a try.
Free wireless internet in the lobby, otherwise - pay for a wired in the room.
Room was large, bed was comfortable, clean and bathroom had all the amenities necessary. There were two robes provided.
Parking in the adjacent structure next door, even if it is filled, there are spots reserved for hotel guests. Cost - $7 per day that was not disclosed to me at tyhe check in and was a surprise at the check out. This was not taken off the bill after I pointed it out to them.
Overall, pleasant experience, reasonable rate and a nice clean hotel in a location central to Riverside's limited attractions.
