Stayed here for our anniversary and contacted the manager to ask for a nice room. When we checked in we had been upgraded to a suite with 2 balconies. The hotel was very nice and enjoyed the pool a lot. It is easy to get to downtown but as it was a holiday weekend many places were closed. the only downside was the musty smell in our room. We had to keep the balcony doors open to air it out. we did not contact any one about this as I was reluctant to complain since we had such a good deal. the hotel is lovely and close to shopping.

The Marriott Waterford is a very nice and well maintained property. I have been staying at this location off and on for over 9 years. There is a sign in the lobby that mentions a remodel that is currently happening, but I heard only faint drilling a few floors down. The beds, linens, room amenities are all top shelf. There is a nice restaurant with a large bar.
This Marriott is in an area to itself. The property is part of an area of homes that has its own security entrance. There is a very nice health club in the basement of the hotel that is staffed. You will find treadmills, recumbent, stationary bikes and eliptical machines and a full line of weight machines. Spa service is also offered. The prices are very, very reasonable for a full service hotel.
If you don't have a car, there isn't much within walking distance of this property. The Penn Square Mall is less than a mile south, but the road getting you there is busy. Other than that, the hotel is classy and quiet for their guest. The staff here is very well trained.

My husband and I recently had our wedding reception here, and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. They were very accomodating to me, my guests, and our families. The food at our reception was outstanding. They were flexible in terms of letting the reception run late. We all danced until 1:00am. The honeymoon suite was very nice, and they sent a bottle of Champagne and chocolate covered strawberries up for us. The bar downstairs is lots of fun too. The night before our wedding, they had a great jazz band playing in there. All of our families enjoyed their rooms and their stay.

Located in a quiet part of town with a big shopping mall close by, the hotel itself is clean, the rooms are good size with very comfortable beds, and abundant feather pillows. Bathrooms are equipped
with Bath-Body shampoo, conditioner and lotion.
Breakfast was not included in the price but coffee was offered complimentary in the lobby in front of check in desk. The coffee was good but service was skimpy. By 9:00 am the days I stayed, the coffee urn was empty and coffee cups were all gone. No refill available.
Internet connection in the room was not offered. The reception clerk told me that I can use a hotel computer near the check in desk. That desktop was so old, sitting at the end of the reception counter. It's only connected to airlines, not to the Web..
The hotel would be much nicer if it could offer all day complimentary coffee and has internet connection included in the room rate.

This is a classic boutique like hotel in an attractive business -residential area with green belt and trees. The staff was friendly and the rooms have nice moulding, good lighting and new spa type bedding. There is a lovely pool area, a gym and handball court and an onsite restaurant. A short walk across the street is an appealing Italian restaurant...Bellini's. The Penn Shopping Mall with a Cheese Cake Factory and a few other restaurants is a short drive away. Our "glitch" began with a simple request to Housekeeping..."Please remove the feather mattress pad." (too soft for my back!) When we returned...the down comforter and pillows were removed and replaced by OLD blankets and foam pillows! The feather mattress pad remained!!! Couldn't get us a comforter til morning!!! To make a long story short...day 2 AND 3 were the same!!!! When the housekeeper arrived on the 3rd evening with the desk clerk ("I'll get it for you myself!!") she brought a TWIN (we had a king bed!!) FEATHER MATTRESS PAD!!!! Incredulous... we left it like that!!! Result?? 1 night with lovely bedding, 2 nights with old blankets and foam pillows!!! VERY frustrating!!!! I was also surprised that the computer access available was standing at an old, slow computer behind their front desk. But I was grateful to beable to print my boarding passes! I would stay here again but would be sure to avoid Housekeeping at all costs!!!
