Me & a mate stopped here for a very brief one night, on arriving at 6 pm we were told by front desk that the non smoking twin we had booked via Expedia was not available & only options were a smoking twin or non smoking double,NO WAY we said as the room we had booked was the one we wanted, he then started saying because we had not booked direct there in lied the problem , RUBBISH we said & 2 minutes later of tapping away Hey Presto our non smoking twin appeared !! Very strange???
The room was clean & reasonably sized but was lacking robes, slippers & toiletries were basic .
Concierge was pretty good he told us about a really cool cocktail bar called Rouge full of very cool & trendy locals but a nightmare to find as it was tucked away but hey all the best places are :) .
We got back at just past 2 am & the hotel was dead no where to have a night cap at all apart from your mini bar.
Breakfast was ok, service looked a bit pushed nice views of the river though.
This hotel being a large purpose built style is also a 15 min walk into town so if you want to be in the centre of the action then its not for you.
All in all we felt that at ?180 for the night it was not value for an average 4 * property but Copenhagen indeed Denmark is an incredibly Expensive country where the word value does not exist .

We stayed at the Marriott in Copenhagen for two nights following a cruise. We used our Marriott points and It was excellent. We were going to have a city view but were upgraded to a canal view and enjoyed it very much. This city is beautiful, and there are a lot of things to see and do within walking distance of the hotel. This hotel is located just two blocks from Tivoli and an art museum; about 5 blocks from a palace which has tours in English and the History Museum of Denmark. There is a canal tour in English that picks you up just outside the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

On our way back from our yearly vacation stay in Samso, we stayed at the Copenhagen Marriott Hotel. This was our second stay at the hotel. We also stayed there during the summer of 2006. The hotel is conveniently located, the service was magnificent and the hotel looked great & was extremely clean. Our kids, 6 and 11 loved the bed they shared especially the over sized pillows and fluffy comfortable they are accustomed to at home.
The location, right on the water front is a magnificent location for a hotel. From our window view, we could see quaint harbor in Denmark's capital. From the hotel, we were in walking distance from downtown Copenhagen, Tivoli Gardens, the Little Mermaid, Christiansborg Palace and the "Stroeget", Europe's longest pedestrian street. We took advantage of a well-equipped health club with sauna, steam and massage. We enjoyed the continental breakfast which was meet our every need.
During both of our visits, we found the hotel to be a place we looked forward to staying again on our next family trip to Copenhagen. We were extremely satisfied with our stays and have recommended the hotel to all of our friends traveling to Copenhagen. When traveling with young kids, a hotel like the Marriott Copenhagen made thinks easy and convenient for all.

The staff was very polite and helpful. We were asked to leave by check-in a deposit of 200? for a 3 nights stay, although the stay was prepaid. The rooms were Ok, but many things were missing, like slippers, ear sticks, shampoo for 2nd person, which doesn`t match to a 5-star hotel. We were informed that we would pay for minibar also by removing a bottle for 2 seconds without having used it! The air-conditioning was in function everywhere, although the temperature was at maximum 23 degrees.(Spending energy) The stairs were only for emergency and not for every day use. Breakfast was Ok.
