We stayed at this property for an anniversary weekend and were not impressed. The room was nice as long as you are on a high floor, facing the mountains, not the parking lot. The couch was old and saggy. The tub for 2 was nice and relaxing – although our bathroom was not clean at check in. I think this place is geared towards large groups and conventions and should not try to be everything to everyone. The staff was far from friendly and accommodating. We had to ask three times for a fridge, three times for water at lunch – no apologies, nothing. The list goes on. No one smiled, asked how you are – it just seemed like no one cared. Room service was much less then I expect for a four star – burgers, chicken and ribs? Our food was greasy and often missing condiments or items which were supposed to go with our meal. No one even asked about our stay at check out. We expressed our concerns and were offered future compensation – but why would we go spend more money here when we were disappointed in the first place? We will not be back.

We stayed at Loews while attending a conference in July. We were very pleased with our room and with everything that the hotel had to offer. The bathroom was so pretty that we took pictures for use in our upcoming bathroom remodel at home.
The scenery was wonderful and the service was the best we have ever experienced while traveling. The pool area is clean and the staff brought out cold treats for everyone such as sample size smoothies and skewered frozen grapes. The hotel is also located close to shopping and dining just down the street. We will definitely stay here again!

I just returned from a 3 night stay at this resort, and overall had a fabulous time there and would return. The setting is gorgeous, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and loved the balcony. The glitches included forgetting I had some perks coming with the package I booked, but they made it right immediately when I brought it to their attention. (The package I bought was a really good deal!!) I was ignored at the pool both days and watched them ask others what they would like, so the 2nd day I finally flagged someone down and it took an hour from the time I asked for the menu and got the meal, but then they comped it and were extremely apologetic explaining they had a computer breakdown and were backed up. The Spa technician was wonderful, but the receptionist didn't bother to tell me the door would lock behind me when I went to the pool before my massage. (This area costs $10 a day to use unless you are using the Spa. The pool area was so much more peaceful than the other pool.) Had to hike completely around the building to get back in dripping wet across the lobby.... an earlier reviewer mentioned dark halls, and I found that when I checked in early evening coming in from the outside (vs the inside lobby. The place is sprawling and one can easily lost with the obscure, limited signage.) These halls were outside and very tunnel-like, but the indoor halls seemed well lighted. The staff overall were gracious, friendly, and accommodating (from housekeeping to checkout to restaurants etc.) The food was excellent (albeit a tad pricey..) Amenities were plentiful. Loews is kid and pet friendly; I'm pet friendly, so the Sat evening outdoor movie blasting away was hard to contend with as I had enjoyed peace and quiet with the sliding door open and the screen letting the night air in the other 2 nights. Had to shut the door and turn my TV up to hear it. They really made you feel like they wanted to ensure your satisfaction, and the package deal is the way to go! I'll be back if I can get a deal like that again!
