Stayed at this property mid February '08 and found it to be very clean, comfortable and well-staffed. Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to be accomodating. We took advantage of "week-end impluse" rate so it was an excellent value as well. The property is also well located, close to a variety of restaurants and the Mall but not close enough to be a traffic or noise problem.

Stayed here with my kids this summer and I was very pleased. The staff was excellent, not a far ride to the beach, the towels were so soft, the bed was comfy, close to the mall, and they had a great breakfast in the lobby (which impressed my kids because of all the choices they had.**best waffles ever**)

My husband and I stayed here recently with our two small dogs. We liked that this hotel was dog friendly and had a mini dog area along the side of the hotel. The room was clean (though the elevator needed some updating) and the service was friendly. The breakfast in the morning wasn't bad and the internet connection was good. The room itself was quiet, though if you stood by the door, you could hear some people talking in the hallway. All in all, it was a good value and I'd return again.

My family and I stayed at the LaQuinta Inn & Suites in Panama City from July 6th to July 8th, 2007. We were somewhat nervous at choosing a place to stay for vacation since we were not very familiar to the area. Upon arrival for check-in, the staff was excellent. Our information was correct and our room was ready. The room was on the 4th floor overlooking the pool/hot tub/gazebo area, it was a very nice view. Our room was clean, the maid service was just wonderful. The breakfast was above average and the lobby/pool/hot tub areas were well maintained. Even after such a busy week(post-4th of July stay), the hotel and staff were great. I would consider it a very "family-friendly" place. The hotel is located in an excellent shopping/dinning area. All major stores/resteraunts/fast food/mall are very easily accessable. Excellent parking available. Also, pet welcoming. My family does not have a pet, but the other guests with pets did not bother us at all. We did not notice any barking during the night. Had very good sleep both nights we stayed. Railroad tracks are located right across the road from hotel, but train noise not recognized either. We are looking forward to another stay Labor Day weekend in September. We'll let you know how that stay goes also!

I've stayed in this hotel several times on business and have been impressed with the quality. The price is comparable to all of the other hotels in this area. The rooms are quiet and clean and the service is excellent. The free continental breakfast was very filling and on par with other breakfasts served at hotels in this price range. It's located right near the mall and chain restaurants, which could be good or bad according to your point of view. My only complaint actually had nothing to do with the hotel, but with Panama City. There is a large pulp mill in town and occasionally the wind will blow a sulfurous odor to different areas of town. It's impossible not to smell, but thankfully this only occurred once out of the four times I've stayed there. There's nothing you can do about it, except buy some air freshener. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to travel to Panama City.
